CARGO :
Carting the cargo.
Cargo acceptance.
Preparation of pre-flight briefing
Monitoring the cargo build-up.
OPERATIONS :
Monitoring the movement of the flight and after getting confirmed ETA informing to the concerned departments.
Setting Departure crew wake-up and pick-up from hotel to airport arrangements. Arranging crew meals catering, fuelling and aircraft security.
Making necessary changes in the planning as per the final allocation for the flight.
Check all built-up uld, their physical weights against declared weights, verify if any weight discrepancy is observed and submit dead-load weights to G.H.A Load staff to complete load planning.
Monitor flight plan for total traffic payload and if required to offload cargo according to priority. Request for revised flight plan if need arises.
Monitor and check manifesting, documentation and preparation of ULD tags.
RAMP:
Monitor all arrangements made by G.H.A prior to flight touch down like departure uld’s are lined up, wing arkers/chocks/nose tether/push back/crew step ladder/ Lower deck and main deck fmc/bulk conveyer/marshalling torch-bat and other Ground support units are kept on stand-by.
Monitoring ramp related operations. Check and make sure that all locks are engaged and in place before closing main/lower deck doors.
GENERAL:
Sending weekly Scm telexes, cargo irregularity telexes- imports and exports.
Follow up with D.G.C.A for flight permission for all flights to and from Mumbai and also for the flights over-flying Indian airspace.
Follow up with headquarters in case of any problems like crew schedules, System problems and other general discrepancies
Handling Cargo Agents, Acceptance of Cargo as per required by IATA Rules & Regulations.
Approving and Verification of day-to-day Documentation related to Imports & Exports.
System Operating booking of cargo on specified Flights.
Monitoring and Supervising over all Imports & Exports Loading & Unloading.
Interacting with Airlines Staff, Briefing of cargo load allocated on flights.
Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Handling.
Making Arrival Notices, Issuing DO’s, Revenue Accounting.
Doing reservation .
