* Representation at external fora for Ellerines in organizations such as
CGCSA (Consumer Goods Council of SA), BEE (Black Economic
Empowerment) Forum,
* Establishment of sound corporate deals that yielded acceptable risk,
good value-for-money spent as well as lowest cost available in the
market place for comparable goods and/or services.

* This role changed as I progressed through my tertiary studies
at both Wits University and UCT.
* This eventually led to my appointment as Senior GM
Marketing services with a potential Board appointment
pending.
* The Marketing Services portfolio was a new functional area
and included all my head office responsibilities as well as the
following key aspects:-
o New and resiting store locations;
o Store revamp program
o Merchandising function in all the stores
* I was travelling 4 days out of the 6 days per week to attend to
