Development of educational programmes adapted to autistic children for learning Arabic and linguistics. Use of specialised teaching methods and visual/multisensory aids to facilitate the teaching of Arabic, taking into account the cognitive and sensory characteristics of autistic children. Close collaboration with language therapists, psychologists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised intervention plans. Regular assessment of childrens language progress, implementing adjustments and modifications to teaching programmes as required.
Design teaching programmes adapted to the specific linguistic and cultural needs of learners from the immigrant community. Deliver interactive and engaging lessons, using a variety of teaching methods to facilitate the learning of Arabic. Provide individualised support to learners to strengthen their understanding of Arabic grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and reading. Use relevant teaching resources, such as books, videos, practical exercises and cultural activities, to enrich the learning experience. Regularly assess learners progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to maximise success. Encourage learners to practise Arabic outside the classroom, providing recommendations and resources to enhance their language skills.
Support autistic children in their daily activities and social interactions. Helping to implement individualised educational programmes. Use appropriate communication techniques to promote communication with autistic children. Applying behaviour management strategies to help children regulate their emotions. Observe and document childrens progress, and participate in team meetings to share information and recommendations.
