Project Description
The Scope of Work consists of final design, procurement, construction, start-up and commissioning of all
elements of the Central Utility Plants for the New Doha International Airport and Utility Tunnel.
The project aim is to supply standby power, fire/potable water and chilled water to the main passenger terminals in addition to other critical buildings namely, the Emiri terminal, Mosque, Cargo Terminal Hangar and associated
facilities, Airline Operations Facility.
Scope of Work
- Coordinate duct installation & insulation between 3 CUPs (Central Utility Plant)
- Procure for all duct & insulation materials.
- Coordinating the installation, testing commissioning & start up of 23 AHU in 3 CUPs.
- Coordinating the installation, testing commissioning & start up of 8 CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) in 3 CUPs.
- In charge of installation & operation of all temporary cooling in 3 CUPs
- Coordinating with sub- contractor for the Chiller insulation in 3 CUPs.
- Coordinating with sub-contractor for chilled water pipes, painting & insulation (cellular glass insulation) in 3
CUPs.
- Assist with the execution & operation of process cooling plant in CUP-2 where a total of 8 chillers with a full
capacity of 20, 000 TR supplying chiller water to various areas in the airport, 8 cooling towers single speed fans, 8
primary chilled water pumps, 8 condenser pumps, 3 secondary pumps for building AHU's.
- Assist with the MEP works inside the building FM-200 for all the electrical rooms, fire fighting (wet system,
dry system pre-action etc), water supply distribution.
- Assist with the plumbing work inside the building by revising drawings & ordering materials for the related
work.

- HVAC system includes everything from car park exhaust, mechanical ventilation & air conditioning installation.
