Assist Procurement and Stores Assistant Manager to provide effective procurement and inventory management and services to Engineering & Maintenance Department of Dubai Metro
In-charge of store in the absence of Supervisor
Supervise and oversee the Store Keeper to receive, identify and bin locate stock within stores area
Assist Store Keeper to familiarize their work
Raise requisition and purchase orders in response to internal customer request
Record any stock movements on the inventory management system to ensure accuracy of stock levels at all times.
Perform stock audits and co-ordinate stock checks
General housekeeping of the store area
Participate in keeping all work areas clean, safe and tidy for smoothing all the logistic and inventory processes in a controlled, safe, efficient and appropriate manner
Issuance of materials
To make sure that quantity of every items at the end of the day is equal to your
Inventory report.
To ensure that all your stocks are well properly arranged for the purpose of counting.
Monitor expiration date and batch code to avoid rejections and disposals.
Observe first in first out method at all times.
Responsible in preparing accurate documentation in all items for re ordering level.
Conducts physical inventory on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
To make reports, documents and check every items which are on a critical conditons and submit it to your manager for final approval
Assist PTW (Permit to Work) of other Department
Receive, identify and bin locate stock within the store area
Invoice posting and collect parts from local suppliers when required
