responsible for delivery for business critical projects across Sky Mobile, DTV and Broadband and Talk divisions
•Responsible for Design for major replatforming and managing team of Designers.
•Responsible for Design Governance through Design Board and peer review process.
•Liasing between Program Management, Product Owners, Business Stakeholders and 3rd Parties
•Driving projects through gating process until ultimate delivery:
- liasing with product owners to deliver product briefs that are achievable
- delivering high level designs, collecting estimates
- decomposing designs until developers can implement the required logic
- syndication with impacted component & test leads
- ongoing support of all technical and business stakeholders until functionality released to production
in charge of a team of 12 designers delivering a project to introduce Computer Based Exams.
•Complex integration project involving multiple 3rd Party Companies and offshore development.
with team of 3 running project to deliver Broadband & Talk in the Republic of Ireland. 2.5 year project delivered across 10 successive 6 week releases
•Sole Designer responsible for project to deliver Broadband Fibre in the Republic of Ireland, delivered across 8 successive 6 week releases.
•…and in parallel designer responsible for major platform deprecation project delivered across 12 successive releases
•Member of the Senior Design team, participating in Design Boards to define strategic enterprise design
with team of 3 running project to deliver Broadband & Talk in the Republic of Ireland. 2.5 year project delivered across 10 successive 6 week releases
