Developed Excel and web-based Front Office portfolio admin and monitoring system to efficiently manage large number of accounts with maximum human resource utilization
Formulating investment strategies for different client mandates, laying out economic/market outlook and perform asset allocation and stock selection for different styles, sizes and mandate etc.
Screening and researching for investment opportunities and continuous engagement to widen investment coverage and depth of understanding on the investment universe
Continuous review for risk, compliance and performance attribution to gauge effectiveness of strategies, detect strategy drifts and maintain investment discipline.
Preparing and presenting periodic performance reviews and strategy updates to clients, and promotional materials to prospective clients. Mentoring and guiding the junior team to enhance skills and quality of AM operations.
Managing equity mutual funds and discretionary portfolios (AUM of around USD170mn) including the flagship mutual fund of the company, GCC Equity Fund.
Carrying out fundamental analysis of regional economies, markets and stocks to broaden the knowledge in each aspects which ultimately delivers sound strategic decision.
Actively involve in strategic decision making process through economic/market and micro level analysis for the investment committee.
Running quantitative screening models to support in asset allocation and stock picking for different client mandates and portfolio strategies.
Preparing economic/market outlook presentations, performance review materials for existing and prospective clients
Using Bloomberg and Reuters platforms extensively in excel based models for financial analysis, industry and market valuation, quantitative and momentum based stock picking strategies and other front office solutions.
Comprehensive top-down coverage of Saudi banking and insurance sectors and making recommendations and periodic reviews to the investment committee. Extending coverage on selected GCC banks and insurance companies. maintaining banking and economic databases, creating valuation models and other statistical tools.
Analyzing GCC-based companies for the GCC Equity funds and portfolios, preparing economic and market outlook presentations for DPM clients, pitch books & promotional materials for prospective clients
Supporting Fund/Portfolio managers in the administration/execution and reporting of designated products
