Currently I have been working as a Factory Manager in Cotton Processing Plant and following are my key responsibilities:
1. Making all the production plans on daily basis 2. Providing direction to the Managers 3. Keep all the process in cost efective way 4. Making sure the production team and general labour keep motivated and work at full eficiency 5. Ensure all the quality and safety standards are met while complying with all governmental regulations 6. Ensuring all the machinery runs eficiently with proper and timely maintenance 7. Ensuring all the documentation for receiving, dispatching or storing is done correctly 8. Making sure all the operations run eficiently and smoothly
Procurement
1. Oversee the disbursement process of Sunflower seed& Cotton Seed 2. Keeping track of contracted farmers & periodic crop assessment 3. Procuring the harvested crop into the ginnery safely and economically 4. Safe storage of crop 5. Supply Chain Management
6. Forecasting demand and supply
I joined the organisation as a Plant Executive and I was handling processes related to Cotton Ginning. Since Cotton processing is a seasonal activity, I had been assigned the grains procurement job also for our manufacturing plants. Following were my key responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Management 2. MIS 3. Negotiating purchase terms with suppliers 4. Signing Purchase Orders 5. Invoicing & Payments 6. Forecasting demand and supply 7. Proper & timely procurement of raw material for manufacturing plant 8. Supply Chain Management
