- As a member of SLT, participate in the formulation and implementation of the school strategy and ensure that SLT is aware of and briefed in curriculum developments affecting the sector.
-To develop and recommend strategic and operational plans for the curriculum designed to secure the future of the school in line with its strategic aims.
-To manage, review and evaluate the learners' academic performance including the achievement of learner target numbers, tuition fee income, retention, achievement of qualification and progression, in order to meet the ongoing needs of stakeholders/potential stakeholders.
-To use innovation to enhance the school's reputation and image and attract new learners, customers and partners to extend the reach and provision of the curriculum.
-To develop and implement appropriate quality standards monitoring and assurance mechanisms.
-To set and communicate a clear direction and strategic focus for the development of the curriculum.
-To develop, monitor and review a set of key financial and non-financial results and performance indicators.
-To develop appropriate pedagogy for further education learners, including the use of interactive learning strategies and incorporating new developments in information and learning technologies. 11
-To optimize the performance of provision in relation to achievement of targets, student enrolments, tuition fee income, retention, attendance, achievement of qualifications and progression and to maximize the number of people successfully achieving qualifications through the school.
-To implement appropriate Quality Assurance processes and develop additional processes and systems.
-In liaison with the principal, effectively represent the interests of the school with stakeholders, employers and the community in all matters relevant to the duties of the role.
-To be responsible for Health & Safety issues in all areas of own work within the guidelines stated in the school's Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy.
-To take responsibility for own professional development in consultation with Line Manager, and be proactive and willing to invest in own development subject to the availability of appropriate resources and job/organizational requirements.

- Search for calls for Proposals, in response to admin committee suggestions, within the scope of the LAH mission and vision and disseminate them among LAH members.

-Provide direction and support to the staff team and ensure quality work from all of them. This includes carrying staff evaluation and other HR related responsibilities.
