1. Monitor daily testing activities inside the laboratory.
2. Review and checking of all Asphalt Design Mix, Ready Mix Concrete Design Mix and Quality Test results of each material components(Asphalt & Concrete) submitted by the contractor.
3. Review and analyze laboratory test results before submitting to the Project Manager and make recommendations necessary.
4. Maintaining periodic calibration of all laboratory equipments.
5. Report directly to the Laboratory Manager.

1. Inspection of all approved materials delivered to the site to ensure conformance of the Specification.
2. Daily inspection and monitoring all site activities conducted by the contractor to ensure compliance to the Approved Drawing, Specification and Construction Methodology.
3. Monitor and witness Field Density Tests from embankment level to base course level.
4. Monitor all concreting activities and implement standard procedure of sampling, consolidation and curing of concrete specimen.
5. Coordinate with the contractors Materials Engineer regarding inspection of the source of embankment materials, fine and coarse aggregates, batching plants for Ready Mix Concrete and Bituminous Surface Courses (Hot Mix Asphalt).
6. Report non-conformance work and other notable QA/QC related events, issues and problems to the QA/QC Head.
7. Maintain daily log of QA/QC activities at site.

1. To ascertain that all materials incorporated in to the work pass the requirements of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Standard Specification for Highways, Bridges and Airports.
2. To strictly implement the Minimum Testing Requirements of all the materials incorporated into the work as required by the DPWH.
3. To advice the Resident Engineer in the acceptance and rejection of construction materials intended for use in the project based on test results.
4. Recommend to the Resident Engineer remedial measures for the correction of unsatisfactory condition of materials.
5. To ensure that all fresh concrete delivered to the site pass the required standard slump and temperature prior to pouring. Sampling and curing standard procedures of concrete specimen should be observed.
6. To see that all laboratory weighing devices and testing machines are maintained and calibrated periodically.
7. To submit within time frame test reports and other pertinent papers to the immediate supervisors concerned.

1. Familiarization with the contract scope of works, drawings, Specifications.
2. Inspection of works, installations and erections by field operations to ensure compliance to the Approved Construction Drawings and Specifications.
3. Ensure usage of specified and/or approved materials and its installation conforming to requirements of the Specification and/or purchased orders.
4. Inspection of the quality of all materials delivered to the site.
5. Monitor all concrete pouring activities and implement standard procedures in consolidating, sampling and in curing of concrete specimen.
6. Reports non-conformance works, materials and other notable QA/QC related events, issues and/or problems to the QA/QC Manager.
7. Maintain daily log of all QA/QC activities at site (i.e. samples taken, tested and test results, works and/or materials inspected, noted non-conformance activities, concreting activities, etc.)
8. Perform other duties that maybe assign from time to time

2. Inspection of all works done by Field Operations and/or Sub-contractors before approval for final inspection by the consultant representative prior to proceed to another activity or work.
3. Coordinate with the consultant representative regarding final inspection of work done and other related activity.
4. Monitor all concrete pouring activities and implement standard procedures in consolidating, sampling and in curing of concrete specimen.
5. Reports non-conformance works, materials and other notable QA/QC related events, issues and/or problems to the QA/QC Manager.
6. Maintain daily log of all QA/QC activities at site (i.e. samples taken, tested and test results, works and/or materials inspected, noted non-conformance activities, concreting activities, etc.)
7. Perform other duties that maybe assign from time to time.
