1. Initiates planning and order execution for Operations (Hospitality and Retail) based on agreed timetable;
2. Coordinates with all concepts (Hospitality-Chili's & Fudds; and Retail) for regular orders placed and submitted to our
import consolidator in the U.S. for quotation;
3. Reviews orders from Operations and reverts for clarification (if necessary) prior forwarding the same to US
counterpart for drafting of the initial proforma invoice;
4. Directly communicates with the consolidator, AFS-US and our Operations in finalizing and approving
each batch of shipment;
5. Approves and signs together with the Head of CPU every food importation
before action is taken by the consolidator;
6. Responsible for monitoring entire ordering process to ensure compliance by Operations, CPU and our US supplier/consolidator
on agreed terms in the Ordering Windows or schedule;
7. Prepares and distributes to all concerned regular order status and reconciliation reports to keep Operations
updated on their shipments;
8. Engages the designated company clearing agent for all AFS food importation by providing necessary
assistance including documentation required to clear all shipments;
9. Regularly requests the clearing agent for container updates like confirmation on shipment arrival, its status
at the port, delivery schedule, etc.; and
10. Aside from importation, holds concurrent functions on preparation of highly-relevant Divisional outputs
like Yearly Budget, Other Income Report, monthly payroll and staff pay-rise evaluation or recommendation
while co-administering the Purchasing Food Section.
