* Developed and penetrate customers to win on their Sanitation and Hygiene needs
* Introduced products and programs to customers based on their specific needs
* Assist customers on their CIP optimization.
* Formulate new products/ reformulate existing fruit and beverage products in close
coordination with Marketing and Cannery production group for local and export
products.
* Transact / Create BOM (Bill of Materials) to all new products via SAP.
* Evaluates/ Interprets results of sensory evaluation, shelf life studies of all new/
reformulated products to ensure product launch to the market conforms to agreed
standards and has acceptable shelf life.
* Conduct Thermal Process on all products with different packaging formats and worked
closely with third party Ellab Thermal Validation Solutions during thermal process
establishments and validations.
* Supervise production test runs/ scale-up runs of all new/ reformulated products and
coordinate closely with Quality Assurance and Production groups for turn-over of the
new product for subsequent commercial run.
* Supervise CIP and OPC with coordination from Quality Assurance and Production
groups to insure proper hygiene at the processing lines.
* Computes and provides Finance with product formulation and manufacturing details for
profit and lost studies.
* Design and perform experiments on low-cost alternative ingredients, test cans/ ends and
do special studies, as needed, for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
* Provide technical assistance to Quality Assurance in conducting studies related to
products/ process /packaging improvements and standardization for continuous
improvement and cost reduction.
* Screening and evaluating ingredients from different sources and identifying the best and
lowest costing ingredients even at the minimal stage of development of new prototypes
and customized formulation.
* Operate multi-function process control machinery through control panels, computer
terminals and other control systems to blend, cook, and process and package food
products.
* Observe gauges, computer printouts to verify specified processing conditions and make
adjustments to process variables such as cooking times, ingredient inputs, flow rates and
temperature settings.
* Maintain shift log of production and other data.
* Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines preparatory to operation
* Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards and perform
corrective machine adjustments as necessary.
* Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and type of products
packaged.
* Operate a forklift
* Encode production tags thru SAP.
* Make load plans and do weekly shipment monitoring and coordinate with shipping
department for weekly shipment requirements.
* Conduct/ make stocks status availability report.
