I am dealing with clients looking for Filipino household workers and I also keep track of the workers, from the moment they arrive here in Kuwait until they’re already working for their respective employers.
I’m actively looking for work due to the visa ban for Filipinos which really impacts the office (most recruitment offices).
RFL: Branch closed. As a Barista, I’m working as all-around: cashier, barista, server, cleaner, etc. I take care of customers and provide a friendly yet professional, world class service to them. We also participate in events/catering outside of the shop. One time I was at an event at KOC and did an amazing 300KD sale, all by myself, for only 3 hrs. of non-stop cue. I can work with or without supervision.
RFL: Office closed. As a secretary, I take care of the employement of domestic household workers, from having their applications ready up to endorsing them to their respective employers when they arrive. Also, getting their files/records done, and following up with their sponsors about their welfare and safety. I make sure to add them to my contacts and even on social media to further track them regularly. And whenever the worker have any questions, I answer them as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the office had to close so I had to find a new job.
RFL: Branch closed. As a bar manager, I am responsible to communicate with the owners about everything that’s happening in the bar on a daily basis, as well as reporting what we need to order from our suppliers or purchasing externally whenever necessary. I was the one who made the menu and helped I also keep track of our equipments, products or items and report what needs to be done, replaced or fixed in the bar area. At the moment I am the only staff at the bar (plus my Kuwaiti colleagues at the game section) and my responsibilities are from mis-en-plus to cashiering, making and serving orders and maintaining the store cleanliness and stock control/inventory. I am the only expatriate working here at GOOD GAME and I get along well with my bosses/colleagues.
I am working as a Barista Maestro/Supervisor in COSTA and I always make sure that the service we are providing to our customers are world class and are up to brand standards. I am also responsible for daily ordering from suppliers and encoding them in our internal system, including the daily deliveries. I also do cashiering and customer service, daily reports like online daily sales, etc.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT:
Troubleshooting (inbound via phone) on hundreds of compatible devices with digital apps and videos, like iOS devices, Android Phones, and different brands of TV's, Blu-ray players and HDMI streaming devices/sticks, downloading devices, etc.
TRAINER:
I am responsible for training new hires and guiding them all throughout the process, until they get endorsed to the production floor and start taking in calls. I also do updates and daily reports of all my students and send them to our training manager.
I am also taking in supervisor calls minimum of 8 hours a day, during peak season or if there aren’t new classes to handle at all.
I am responsible for mis en plus, cashiering, making cocktails, mocktails and coffee, taking food orders and making sure customers get their orders on time - from starters to main course and desserts, taking feedback from them, ensuring they are enjoying their dining experience. Me and my supervisor also does flaring in front of our customers every once in a while. We also monitor our stocks and daily imventories, ensuring there’s ample products for the operations.
I worked as a waitress/bartender and am responsible for mis en plus, cashiering, order taking, customer service, ordering thru FMC system, collecting products from the company’s warehouse, ensuring we will have enough stocks for a smooth operation.
