• Prepare the step wise inspection and testing reports as per Approved Quality Assurance Plan, Specifications, and procedures.
• Maintain the Calibration certificates for Machineries and Inspection Instruments and Test Certificates for Raw Materials, Consumables etc.
• Maintain the Documents Such as Specifications, Codes, National & International standards, Procedures, Quality Assurance Plan etc.
• Monitoring the Non Destructive Testing like RT, TOFD, UT, LPT, MPT and Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) and Making inspection reports.
• Monitoring the Performance Qualification tests for the welder and welding operators as per the Welding Procedure Specifications
• Execution of all intermediate and final dimensional inspection in construction sites and Fabrication Shops as per the requirement of the Approved Drawings and Approved Quality assurance plan.
• Making Proper decisions regarding dimensional tolerances as per codes, drawings, standards, and client’s specifications.
• Proper execution of plates cutting, Rolling, Pressing, Fit-up, Welding as per
approved drawings, codes, standards & clients specifications.
• Follow the safety rules and regulations as per the safety procedures and clients specifications.
• Have working experience in different types of materials like Carbon steel, GRP, GRE, Stainless Steel, low & high alloy steels.
• Coordinate with construction, testing groups and contractor QC department in the preparation test requirement of each test pack and facilitate close out of an outstanding punch items before test
• Review Inspection and verify all required test plan and inspections. Witnessing all required tests and adds witness and hold points for the company Inspection.
• Preparing the punch items (before and after pressure test) for each pressure test packages related to piping.
• Recommending and approving piping and pressure vessels repairs as well as performing visual inspection of completed work
• Responsible for promoting safety by inspecting the construction installation and maintenance of boilers and pressure vessels.
• Reviews project technical specification and determine inspection and test requirements and applicable codes and standards.
• Works with operations department in the preparation of Process Control List (PCL) and indicates inspection/ hold points and requirement for inspection and test records.
• Reviews fabrication drawing prior to inspection and test to determine acceptance criteria and allowable tolerance.
• Reviews mill test report, purchase order specification, purchase order and related design documents prior to conducting receiving inspection of materials and products.
• Conduct in process inspection and verify applicable technical specification and inspection procedure standard requirements.
• Witness hydrostatic testing and checks for possible leakage.
• Conducts final inspection of the product prior to shipment to determine whether all requirements for inspection and testing have been addressed.
• Prepares inspection and test records in accordance with the result of inspection and testing.
• Issues nonconformance report for product that did not meet the requirements of the contract specification and drawing.
