1) Study and assess contract drawings, specifications and other related project documents.
2) Prepare work schedule and its implementation on site. Manpower deployment and control.
3) Give instructions to Site Supervisors, Foremen and Staff regarding daily activities at site.
4) Ensure works are in conformance with design drawings, specifications, safety and standards.
5) Monitor daily site activities, work accomplishment, manpower, material and equipment.

1. Review Project Specifications, QCS 2014 and Approved Construction Plans.
2. Organize, implement and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality Policy.
3. Liaise with Contractors, Engineers and all personnel involved on the project regarding the scope of work and its implementation at site.
4. Conduct site inspections and checking that construction activities follow the required sequence of operations. Ensure that the work complies with the contract specifications, approved drawings and related standards.
5. Review and approval of Contractor’s Technical Submittals i.e. Prequalification, Material and Samples, Method Statement (MS), Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
6. “Site Work Inspection Request” checking and approval (Civil & Structural Works and Architectural Finishes).
7. Provide technical support and guidance to site staff for their submission of materials and samples for approval, requests for inspection, documentations and drawings.
8. Conduct material inspection. Monitor and implement testing frequency of the materials. Observe Safety during work inspection.
9. Issuance of Non-Conformance Report (NCR), Site Observation Report (SOR or Corrective Action Report) to the Contractor if there is any deviation from approved Project Documentations or normal construction industry practices.
10. Monitor Contractor’s Long Lead Materials and Delivery schedules.
11. Road works, Inspections & Quality Testing (Earthworks, Site Clearance, Road Base, Sub-base, Asphalt Prime Coat, Base Course, Tack Coat, Wearing Course, Kerbs, Footways, Paved Areas and corresponding Test Frequency). Including landscaping works.
12. Traffic Signs, Markings and Studs as per QCS 2014 & Qatar Traffic Control Manual, Inspection & Quality Testing (Materials, Installation, Application and corresponding Test Frequency).
13. Other Works in relation to Services by Kahramaa (Pipe Connection from existing to new Reservoir and Road Lightning).
14. Drainage Works and Inspection (Material Inspection & Installation of Vitrified Clay Pipes, Concrete, GRP or UPVC, Gullies, Manhole Cover and Gully Gratings, Soak ways, Pipe Surround, Pipes & Fittings).
15. Witnessing NDT test of materials. Witnessing trial mix at Batching Plant. Testing and Witnessing of Concrete Cube Compressive Strength at Laboratory. Other test required as per QCS 2014 Section 2 Testing frequency.
16. Conduct internal quality audit to Contractor and other Khatib and Alami project sites.
17. Coordinate the document control of technical submittals, drawings, etc. with the Project Team and to ensure that the QA/QC validation has been done, to ensure their issue, amendments and recall of controlled documents.
18. Coordinate with the project staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the project.
19. Monthly Preparation of Public Work Authority (Ashghal) QA/QC Questionnaire.
20. Preparation of correspondences and assist in progress billing evaluation of the Contractors.
21. Preparation of Snag List to be rectified by the Contractor for project completion.
1. Review project documentations, QCS, Approved Plans & Schedule and manpower needed for Site Works deployment. These include material, equipment and tools needed for implementation.
2. Give instructions to Site Engineer, QC Inspector, Foreman and Leadman regarding everyday activities. Preparation of daily Inspection Request (IR).
3. Preparation of document submittal for the Al Khor Sewerage Extension and Al Khor Sewerage Treatment Works - Phase II.
4. Coordination with Trade Contractors, Suppliers, Third Party Agency/Laboratory, Engineers and all personnel involve at the project regarding scope of work and implementation at site.
5. Preparation and review of documents for submittal i.e. Material, Shop drawings, Inspection and Test Plan, Method Statement, Submittal Log to Consultant.
6. Review the method of operation if compliance with the approved ITP & Method statement prior to the submission to the Engineer.
7. Perform QA/QC works on site. Conduct site inspections and checking of construction activities following the required sequence of operations.
8. Coordination with the site personnel assigned on different areas of operations to ensure the final product complies with the contract specifications/approved drawings.
9. Preparation of RFI (Request for Inspection) for Testing and other site activities for inspection and approval.
10. Conduct regular site inspection to check the progress of work and if the site activities are compliant to the project methods and procedures.
11. Monitor concreting works on-site and checking its quality from transportation to placing and curing. Initiate material testing as required before placing / installation on site.
12. Arrange for testing and witnessing Concrete Cube Compressive Strength at Laboratory.
13. Preparation of Daily Works Activities, as per Project Schedule.
1) Collaborate with construction teams, Engineer, Consultants, Trade Contractors, Suppliers and all personnel involve at the project regarding work implementation at site.
2) Study Project Specs, QCS and Approved Plans for site execution.
3) Preparation of Method Statement (MS) and Inspection Test Plan (ITP). Preparation of (WPS) Welding Procedure Specifications, Work Procedure and other Engineering documents required in Specification.
4) Conduct Weekly Meeting with Subcontractors to monitor and update Engineering Submittals.
5) Prepare each Subcontractor’s Work Package List.
6) Factory visits to monitor the Progress of works assigned to each Subcontractors off-site Fabrication and submit daily reports.
7) Witness material testing on-site such as PMI (Positive Material Identification), Hardness and Pull-out Testing (Non Destructive Test - MPI and UT).

2) Project planning, scheduling and management. Coordination with Clients, Consultants and Suppliers about the project.
