Position: Shipping Dispatcher
(Logistics Supply Chain Department)
To assure continuous support on raw material, services and production supplies to keep the manufacturing operation; to assure that all items being received are complying to the quality specification and safety requirement; To ensure integrity of data in the enterprise system; Responsible for the assigned logistics tasks as may be assigned; example (receipt transaction, issuance, document validation); Assists the logistics supervisor/manager in tracking and reporting key metrics of the section/department.
• Managing the import shipment raw materials of the plant.
• Managing the import shipment purchase order of spare parts of the plant.
• Handling the transportation needed by the operations especially for the containerized & bulk storage like isotainers.
• Tracking and expediting all the PO's and update the end user's about the status of the shipment.
• Communication for each PO's from the supplier to expedite the shipment until it successfully delivered.
• Arranges transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure material is delivered as per schedule
• Expedites all critical orders with local subcontract vendors.
• Reviews expediting schedule on the customer order. Obtains and forwards information to planning and sales team.
• Coordinates imports and exports.
• Handling the Export Shipment of the plant. Booking and tracking the shipment via courier, sea freight, and airfreight shipment. Communicate with the forwarder (Agility, Aramex, DHL, and FedEx.) for booking of pick-up shipments and follow up the status shipments details.
• Inspections of containerize Trucks (40ft & 20ft.) for the safety in loading the product.
Responsible in dispensing, stocking, inventory and expediting orders. Organizing the warehouse and all the stocks.
• Support pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels and calculating quantities
• Ensure correct prescription and dispense drug to patients
• Maintains records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions.
• Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
• Preparation of reports.
