• Ensures reference of the approved shop drawings at site at the time of execution.
• Reviews the materials and its approval status.
• Ensures the quality of work at site and if they adhere to the procedure recommended by the manufacturer. Verify compliance with the Method Statement/ITP that was approved by the Consultant.
• Performs material inspection and acceptance procedure.
• Ensures that the material storage at stores comply to safety and the requirements of the specific material.
• Ensure all the materials approved are complying with the project specification and is listed on the project specification.
• Insist on mock-up and their approval prior to proceeding with installation.
• Review for work progress and quality of manpower and prepare reports in case of ambiguity.
• Follow up with the Contractor in preparing Marked up Drawings and have it signed off by the concerned discipline consultant, before As-built drawings are made.
• Have an overview of the quality of safety working practice and housekeeping at site.
• Monitor procurement schedule submitted and the actual facts of delivery of materials at site and update project team on concerns.
• At random, check the project plan and the actual progress and inform site team about concerns (Quality not to be compromised to meet lost time).
• Involve in all the project related meets.
• Develop QA/QC review report which could be used to improve the next project where new strategies could be implemented for improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Performing quality activities on the project/program to ensure that products or services provided are in accordance with customer and Parsons Quality requirements. Regularly interacting with representatives from a variety of functional groups, including program management, design/engineering, purchasing, construction, and other personnel.
• Providing Parsons’ Quality Systems support using the ISO 9001 Standard as the basis for process
development and optimization, procedure development, data collection and reporting, and Quality
Systems training.
• Establishing audit schedule, conducting Quality Systems audits and facilitating associated corrective actions.
• Performing independent audits in various areas (e.g. Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication,
Construction, Operations, Maintenance, Project Management, Material Management, and support
organizations). This includes the audit, survey or surveillance of supplier/vendor/contractor QA/QC
programs to ensure compliance.
• Reviewing documents, witnessing the performance of audited activities, preparing checklists and
agendas for audit, performing audits and assessments of performance, conducting pre-and post-audit
meetings/interviews, and preparing final audit reports in a timely manner.
• Analyzing findings/issues/non-conformances identified during audits to determine program quality and
identify performance trends. Analysis includes all available oversight results, both internal and
external, and trending data.
• Supporting and promoting a uniform Parsons’ Corrective Action/ Preventive Action and Non-conformance tracking program to assure a unified, global system to include tracking of NCR’s, CAR’s, Audit Findings, etc. to assure audited activities meet Parsons’ quality program, and Client quality requirements.
• Promoting safety awareness including adhering to safety rules and requirements.
• Verifies that Parsons and customers’ quality requirements are in compliance with quality standards and quality program requirements for products and services provided.
• Preparing Quality manuals, plans, and/or procedures.
• Reviewing from a quality perspective (and approves if required) documents prepared by internal or external organizations such as quality manuals and procedures, technical deliverables, test plans and procedures, purchase orders, and subcontracts.
• Performing statistical process control.
Specific Job Role: (Quality Assurance Support Service to United States Army Corps of Engineers)
•Providing quality assurance oversight to Shield5 Program sites
• Participating in the USACE Three-Phase Control process to assure that the contractor is adequately conducting the required Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up phased control processes
• Performing on-site technical surveillance, oversight, and assessment of projects. Confirms that remedies are performed as designed.
• Preparing daily QA reports, documenting project details, actions taken, items inspected, project status, issues, photo log, deficiency log, workforce breakdown, safety, security, etc. into RMS.
• Preparing digital photo documentation to include photos of site(s) and building(s) under investigation, field activities, and sample locations and place into RMS.
• Attending and supporting meetings and teleconferences, as required
• Documenting pre-final inspection findings in a pre-final inspection report and do the same for final inspection.
• Closely monitoring of Discrepancy Non-Compliance Log/Non-Compliance Notices (DNC/NCNs) status in RMS
• Providing input and verifying accuracy of the contractor’s reports in RMS
• Observing key project inspections and verify results in RMS
• Review site reports and submittals for accuracy and quality standards.
• Reviewing of contractors’ pay requests and percentages completed.
• Reviewing and recommending for responses to RFIs.
• Reviewing and recommending for responses to submittals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepared and implemented Project Specific Quality Plan and Quality Control procedures in accordance with JCI’s Quality Management System and Client’s requirement and monitored the performance of subcontractors on all quality matters
• Reviewed Technical submittals as submitted by the Subcontractors and coordinated the approval with the client.
• Reviewed and monitored the close-out of project document submittals.
• Supervised QC Inspectors for the execution of inspection and testing of completed installation as per the approved ITP, project specification, approved shop drawing or contract requirements and led them in other related activities such as material receiving inspection.
• Led and managed a QA/QC team to successfully deliver the construction programme to the required quality standards

• Directly responsible for the safety of all Electrical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards
