Purchasing
Development and maintenance of processes to manage overall costs and deliveries from multiple, worldwide suppliers.
Maintenance and coordination of relationship with suppliers.

Scheduling
Direct and assist in facility scheduling to meet customer and inventory needs of the business.
Making ERP system adjustments related to the Business Supply Chain

Inventory
Development and maintenance of processes to ensure world class delivery times and fill rates. May include volume forecasting by item or category.
Management and negotiation of inbound and intercompany freight costs.
Monitoring and management of warehouse contracts and warehouse performance
Participation in production planning process improvement.
Manage and report out on Inventory cash flow, aged material with relationship to customer service levels.

Organization: Position reports to the Operations Director, but works heavily with Procurement, Finance and Technical Managers and, to some extent, others throughout the organization.
Reporting to this position: Master Scheduler, Shipping and Receiving personnel

Measures Of Performance
Trends of raw material costs
On-Time Delivery performance and delivery turn-around times by warehouse
Availability of raw materials for “made-to-order” and “made-to-stock” products
Levels of “excess” and “expired” inventory in all warehouses
Freight costs for inbound materials and intercompany transfers
Coordination of “strategic partnerships” with suppliers
Development and use of reports and management tools for monitoring performance of:
Costs and Savings activities
Raw material availability and turns
FG availability and turn in all warehouses
Delivery performance by warehouse and for made-to-order products
Cooperative interaction with management and production team, etc. to ensure achievement of business objectives.

In charge in handling the biggest client of the company (TOSHIBA) in all aspect of sales & operational activities. Coordinates with pool of manpower assigned to handle the shipment. Closely coordinates with Trucking sub-contractors for timely arrival of fleet to the pick-up and delivery point. Monitor the daily transactions and relationship with all premier Carriers to obtain and secure space allocation to protect the daily unplanned urgent shipments and to negotiate with reasonable rates.

Achievements : Was able to successfully managed the transition of shipments from AOT to Panalpina. Handled 50 tons of Airfrfeight shipments from various destinations per week. Spearheading the usage and planning of using commercial airlines, Freighter flight and Charter flights simultaneouslt from Manila to Luxembourg and to its final destination in Europe and the middle East by handling Toshiba Laptops.

Due to the transfer of Toshiba plant in China, production in the Philippines was shut down and I was transferred to the customer service to handle other shipments and soon enough was given the opportunity to try being in the field to be a Sales Executive.
