Specialized in marketing activations for two departments; Certified Pre-Owned Cars & Sixt Rent a Car. Primary task is to ensure that all departmental functions adhere to the CI guidelines as set by the corporate office. Responsible for the operational and marketing requirements of the aforementioned departments and additionally, provide support to new cars and after-sales department when required.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Owned Used Cars
• Budgeting, planning and execution of monthly requirements of the Pre-Owned division together with the sales team and review of performance based on target.
• Initiation of online listings such as dubizzle, Carmudi etc and ensuring proper maintenance of the accounts.
• Planning and organizing of quarterly sales event for used cars.
• Liaising with Daimler Middle East & Levant to secure approvals on marketing plan, new projects, advertising campaigns & branding.
Sixt Rent a Car:
• Securing barter sponsorship and working on activation with maximum ROI for the brand.
• Constant review of operation procedures to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and liaising with Sixt Germany to ensure the standards are met.
• Conceptualizing new brand activations to maximize exposure in both UAE and international markets.
• Activation of social media platforms for Sixt RAC UAE.
• Design & Development of POS customer interaction tool for RAC kiosks (Windows 8 app).
Others:
• Conceptualization and implementation of Gargash Enterprises Intranet Portal (Employee portal).
• Organizing media test drives and photo shoots for various agencies.
• Liaising with Group 32 & Group 63; private Mercedes-Benz fan clubs to deliver various requirements and organizing regular meets.
• Organizing CSR activations such as Down Syndrome Association Lunch & Sixt RAC - Drying little tears (charity organization).
Coordinating with key stakeholders including advertising agency, media agency, suppliers & procurement department
Marketing communications:
• Developing integrated marketing campaigns.
• Briefing advertising agency on new campaigns.
• Developing media plans.
Administration:
• Working with procurement department to connect with suppliers on various requirements.
• Processing of memos with finance department for approvals.
• Creation of LPO’s through internal systems.
Events:
• Meeting event organizers for sponsorship proposals.
• Negotiating with organizers for optimal ROI.
• Coordinating with event management companies & other suppliers for setups, launches, mall activations and other requirements.
Digital & Social media:
• Administering the official Mercedes-Benz Dubai Social Media pages (currently 150k Facebook fans, Instagram & Twitter pages from early stages.
• Worked on development of gargash.ae website.
• Development of Gargash Enterprises Smartphone app (iOS & Android).
Worked in the creative department of Amber communications, advertising agency located in DMC. Job entailed design and execution of advertisements for various media including TVC, Print and outdoor.
