Duties & Responsibilities:-
• Leading the team of QC Inspectors to conduct on-site inspections related to quality assurance and quality control of the project and make sure that all works are planned, performed, controlled, managed and documented as per Company and Project Quality Control Procedure.
• Preparation/Review of project specific quality documents; Inspection & test plan, QC procedures, project quality plan. In addition to quality documents, I also experienced in review of method statement, material submittal, site technical query, and field change notices
• Implementation of the project quality management system; ensured by continuous surveillance on contractor’s activity (construction as well as documentation) throughout the project.
• Inspection of pipeline trench excavation, pre-padding works, post padding works & backfilling works in accordance with the approved QCP, Method Statement and Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
• Concrete works; source approval of concrete constituents, trial mixes (lab & field), concrete placement, curing & concrete repairs for in situ concrete & precast concrete. Also underground & above ground concrete protection
• Preparation of concrete cube register & analyze reports (compaction test, compressive strength test, material testing etc) from third party.
• Monitoring all activities and materials of construction in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.
• Preparation of request for inspections with all necessary attachments.
• Coordinating with the construction engineers and client inspectors for clearing designated inspections (Hold and Witness Points).
• Preparing and resolving site work queries with client.
• Follow up all quality functions as per approved quality records, inspection typical test plan, check list etc.
• Conduct inspection on all materials received at site and ensure materials to be used confirming to contract plans and specifications.
• Inspect incoming civil materials and ensuring it is in good condition without physical defects and damages. Verify test reports, specification, and manufacturer profile and ensure it is meeting client’s approval.
• Concrete Trail mix inspections & batching plant inspections.
• Preparing daily inspection reports on field activities

Scope of Work:
Construction of approx. 2, 000 lm of revetment.
Pre-casting and Installation of approx. 3, 600 Nos. of Core-Locs units for revetment protection.
Dredging of approx. 2.25M m3 of material from borrow area for the reclamation of approx. 240, 000 m2 of land.
Soil Improvement of reclaimed land using Vibro-Compaction.
Pre-casting and Installation of Quay Wall Concrete blocks on rock layer foundation to construct a 62 lm corner Quay Wall (approx. 4, 600m3)
Construction of 143 long concrete retaining wall 3.25 to 6.25 m high (approx. 2, 500m3 concrete) resting on 72 piles.
Construction Drainage outfalls through the Core-Locs concrete armor units.
Extension of the ADMA API Separator outfall.
Protection of effluent outfall pipelines, Submarine Cables and construction of new cable ducts.
Detailed Engineering including Special Marine Studies including the 2D / 3D Physical Modeling
Shoreline clearance including removal and disposal of debris, construction waste and concrete Acropod from the existing coastline and the footprint of the land reclamation area.
Duties & Responsibilities:-

Deviation from specification or design drawing in critical activities are documented in CAR/NCR and follow up for their close out. Minor deviations are resolved through verbal communication and continuous monitoring. Maintaining register of NCR/CAR
• Co-ordinate with construction regarding inspection to comply with ITP requirements and take proactive action during construction process for rectification/improvements if required
• Concrete works; source approval of concrete constituents, trial mixes (lab & field), concrete placement, curing & concrete repairs for in situ concrete & precast concrete. Also underground & above ground concrete protection
• Epoxy & non-shrink cementitious grout; Grouting under steel structures, vessels, rotatory & vibratory equipment’s
• Dredging, reclamation & shore protection; sampling & testing of dredged material, compaction for reclamation, installation of geotextile, core & armor rock
• Inspection of Structural steel works; Piperack, handrail, access ladder, equipment shelter
• Asphalt works; source approval of asphalt & under layers, placement of aggregate sub base & base course, witness field test, review of lab test reports, road signage & marking, traffic signal, road kerbs
• Miscellaneous civil works; Earthwork, FDT, general grading, gravel surfacing, brickwork, tile laying, painting
• Fireproofing (propriety type & concrete); Surface preparation, mixing, application, curing for propriety type fireproofing.
• Follow up for preparing punch list, closing punch list item and Mechanical Completion Certificate.
• Inspection, sampling and testing of rock/boulder materials to be used for revetment (Armor rock, Under Layer, Quarry run, Bedding Layer). Making sure that these materials are meeting the project specifications and relevant international standards.
• Conducting Painting Inspection with Vendor/suppliers (Visual, DFT, Painting materials, DFT gauge calibration with Zero plate as per the Specification & ITP)

Duties & Responsibilities:-

• Follow up for QA/QC activities for the production of mass concrete blocks, in situ capping beam, precast foundations, manholes & road crossing duct bank
• Witness underwater diving inspection of foundation strata of quay wall, rubble mount foundation, installation of precast concrete blocks & scour protection consist of armour rock
• Follow up for QA/QC activities for installation of marine furniture; fender, bollard, access ladder, mooring ring
• Review of test reports for dredged material, sand fill, rock & geotextile. Review the profile of rockwork and follow up for corrective action if required.
• Inspection of rock bund; placement of geotextile, core material & armour rock
• Follow up for QA/QC activities for the asphalt access road, new integrated traffic light, general grading
• Supervised laboratory technicians in conducting field and laboratory tests for both soil and concrete.
• Conducting Field Tests with the Consultant Such as Field Density Test (FDT).
• Preparing all papers to work related to Compression Strength, Quality test and Trial-mix.
• Conduct quality control inspection tasks in accordance with the requirements of the established inspection plans.
• Inspection, sampling and testing of rock/boulder materials to be used for revetment (Armor rock, Under Layer, Quarry run, Bedding Layer). Making sure that these materials are meeting the project specifications and relevant international standards.
• Inspection of deliveries of materials to assure that they are within tolerances, grade in quality as specified, that they are properly stored and handled, and that they have been not damaged.
• Participate in weekly Quality Progress meeting with the client & Consultant.
• Initiating and reviewing Inspection request with all related drawings and document.
• Follow up status of fabrication and delivery schedule of steel structural materials from the vendor and see to it that the materials will arrive on time as per project construction schedule.
• Monitor compressive strength of concrete cubes from batching plant.
• Control punch list works during the final stage of the project, Liaison with the consultants, client, site offices, project coordinator, project team, Subcontractors and top management.
• Managing all documentation works/test reports/certificates/records and keep all in a good filling system.

Project Scope of Work:-
 Dredging of Intake and Outfall Channel ( Approximately 600, 000mᵌ)
 Offshore and Onshore GRP 4.0 m dia. Pipe laying using coupling system (6.5 k. m)
 Construction of Seawater Pump Station (105 m × 95 m, depth 12 m below seawater)
 Construction of Outfall seal pit structure (2 Nos., 29 m × 22 m, depth l below sea water level)
 Shore protection works.
 Construction and installation of velocity cap (Seawater Intake head structure)
 Navigation aids, the Oil Boom, and permanent buoy installation.
 Inland GRP pipe 2.70 m dia. Installation using a lamination system

• Structural steelworks; Pipe rack, handrail, access ladder, equipment shelter.
• Inspection of QA/QC activities for tank foundation, pump foundation, retaining walls, precast manholes, pipe sleepers & pedestals
• Follow up for QA/QC activities for miscellaneous civil works like grouting (epoxy & non-shrink cement), concrete drainage line, Fence, asphalt work
• Inspection of all civil works on site such as Concrete Pre-pouring works and concrete pouring works.
• Supervision of civil work construction of earthwork for the pipeline, Columns Foundation, Elevated concrete structures, pavements, Equipment foundations.
• Miscellaneous civil works; Earthwork, FDT, general grading, gravel surfacing, brickwork, tile laying, painting
• Check the material which is using for batching is only approved material.
• Monitor compressive strength of concrete cubes from batching plant.
• Asphalt works; source approval of asphalt & under layers, placement of aggregate sub-base & base course, witness field test, review of lab test reports, road signage & marking, traffic signal, road kerbs
• Miscellaneous civil works; Earthwork, FDT, general grading, gravel surfacing, brickwork, tile laying, painting
• Monitor for concrete material sampling from batching plant.
