Manage all TSC logistics activities in operated countries (shipping, warehousing, and transportation) with over 250 staff and warehouse area of 30, 000 sqm2 with inventory value over US$18 Million and 30, 000 SKU's, and fleet of more than 30 trucks. The division services all TSC business units.
• Improve shipping operation between foreign suppliers and TSC by ensuring efficient scheduling of shipments and effective arrangement of import and export documentation.
• Reduce overall logistics operational cost.
• Establish warehouse policies and procedures and periodically review them to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Budget preparation for the Distribution & logistics division. Achieving an optimum mix between supporting business objectives and minimizing cost.
• Set up benchmarks for efficiency and performance (KPI's)
• Formulate and align division strategy to meet company goals & objectives
• Monitor day-to-day operation with supervisors and co-ordinate with other divisions on special requirements or projects.
• Monitor inventory stock level and constantly co-ordinate with the buying divisions to enforce inventory policies and procedures.
• Improve service level and On Time in Full (OTIF).
• Manage annual stock take as well as emergency stock counts. Control reports and internal documentations required by other departments (Finance, HR, etc.)
• Ensure that all internal company policies and procedure are followed.
• Perform Internal Quality Assurance Audits that are compliant with corporate policies, practices and procedures and Conduct risk analysis, verification, validation activities and formal design reviews as applicable.
• Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance program for monitoring supplier quality, including audits, controls and other qualifiers.
• Persuade staff to adopt and incorporate quality methods into their work and identify relevant Quality training needs and opportunities and Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the structure.
• Introduced Open Door Inventory Schedules in the Warehouse to Increase Sales and Profitability for the Company.
Manage the complete Operations for American Army Bases in Kuwait with regards to the Local Market Supplies.
Handle Supply Chain solutions, Procurement and Operations for Local Products from 37 Suppliers.
