KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
➢ Monitor delivery of permanent materials and ensure the quality of products / consumables / materials comply with requirements of established Standards & Specifications.

➢ Perform routine surveillance, inspection, monitoring, auditing & assurance of Contractor's site activities (Fabrication and Welding, NDT, Coating and Painting) in accordance with the Projects and Contractors, specifications, ITP and Quality Plans.

➢ Ensure all the personnel employed and operating in welding and NDE activities is duly skilled and qualified in accordance with the applicable specifications, codes and regulations.

➢ Interpreting and evaluating of NDT Results, witnessing Hydro test, Pneumatic test and Post test Re-instatement.

➢ Conversant with International Codes & Standards like ASME, ASTM, AWS & API Specifications.

➢ Ensure all pre-construction activities and qualification trials are witnessed and approved as necessary. Ensure the Inspection & Test Plan of each activity is fulfilled and "hold points" of the company are completed in due time.

➢ Supervision of Piping Fabrication, Welding, Mechanical and Painting jobs (Construction & Maintenance) in line with Project requirements.

➢ Review and comment upon Contractors daily inspection records for activities covered and investigate any anomalies / queries

➢ Raise non-compliance reports where applicable and ensure satisfactorily closed out

➢ Repair follow-up, Conforming line check as per P&ID, NDT clearance, Punch List preparation, follow up of final completion

➢ Identification of risks to the quality of work and the completion program, and associated solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
➢ Familiar with the inspection of pipe lines, visual, verification of correctness and identification.
➢ Check isometric drawing for correct revision and spool fabrication.
➢ Material inspection for incoming materials and review of material certificates to check compliance to project specification.
➢ Control of welding process as per applicable WPS & PQR requirements.
➢ Ensure that all inspections are performed in accordance with the project requirement, specification, acceptance criteria and international standards. Responsible for submission of all final reports to clients.
➢ Witnessing NDT tests and air test for pipe joints.
➢ Checking consumable type, condition, size etc in process inspection.
➢ Witness welder qualification test in association with approved WPS.
➢ Doing the underground pipe line inspection of HDPE, DI, MS pipe lines.
➢ Doing hydro test inspection after the completion of each one kilometers.
➢ Familiar with hydro testing procedures and reinstatement procedures.
➢ Witnessing field joint coating and inner lining.
➢ Familiar with material inspection, dimensional check and documentation as per construction material standards.
➢ Confident to handle the construction and quality control activities as specified in the drawings and applied standards and specifications.
➢ communicating with my team members regarding the activities to be carried out for work growth.
➢ Review of Inspection & Test Plan, Material verification, stage wise inspection, dimensional inspection, and welding inspection.
➢ Attending daily/weekly, monthly meeting with client to clarify all technical issues.
➢ Handling all piping technical queries and investigating all field pipe work related problems, including the drawing of field sketches when necessary.
➢ Coordinating with Engineering and Construction and liaise with the Client on detail engineering requirements.
➢ Responsible for Piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule, Procedures, Specifications, Priorities and Availability of Construction Drawings
➢ Ensure the Productivity and Quality is maintained by subordinates. Coordinate with other Disciplines in site.
➢ Assist Design Department in solving Piping Modification and Technical Problems in the Field.
➢ Provide technical answers to Engineering Queries raised up by the sub-contractor confirming design drawings and standard requirements.
➢ Responsible for counter checking by Isometric/Piping plan for the spools erected in the correct location, orientation, alignment and plumpness.
➢ Carrying out final P&ID check of installed piping systems in the module.
➢ Preparation of "AS BUILT" drawings.
➢ Responsible for carrying out Mechanical Clearance, Conducting Hydro and Pneumatic tests, fulfilling commissioning and Pre-Commissioning requirements for the project.
➢ Ensure that hydro test reinstatement is to be done as per procedure.
➢ Ensure that all punch list items are resolved; client handover is satisfactorily concluded and that there is no prolongation of project.

➢ Review of Project specification and P&ID s.
➢ Control of welding process as per applicable WPS & PQR requirements. Have been experienced and well versed with codes like ASME-B31.3/31.1, AWS- D1.1, API-570, API-620, API-650 etc.
➢ Handling all piping technical queries and investigating all field pipe work related problems, including the drawing of field sketches when necessary.
➢ Coordinating with Engineering and Construction and liaise with the Client on detail engineering requirements.
➢ Develop Construction Engineering Technology in line with Company Policy and Procedures.
➢ Elaborates construction feasibility analysis evaluating the available materials & drawings.
➢ Responsible for Piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule, Procedures, Specifications, Priorities and Availability of Construction Drawings
➢ Ensure the Productivity and Quality is maintained by subordinates. Coordinate with other Disciplines in site.
➢ Monitoring the daily work activities of Sub Contractor and updating Sub Contractor Progress Reports.
➢ Assist Design Department in solving Piping Modification and Technical Problems in the Field.
➢ Responsible for counter checking by Isometric/Piping plan for the spools erected in the correct location, orientation, alignment and plumpness.
➢ Carrying out final P&ID check of installed piping systems in the module.
➢ Preparation of "AS BUILT" drawings.
➢ Preparation of field piping system test packages, including system limit on P&ID and piping Isometrics.
➢ Responsible for carrying out Mechanical Clearance, Conducting Hydro and Pneumatic tests, fulfilling commissioning and Pre-Commissioning requirements for the project.
➢ Responsible for line checking after hydro test to complete the post punch list prior to sign-off the test packages before signing the completion of piping / mechanical.
➢ Ensure that hydro test reinstatement is to be done as per procedure.
➢ Ensure that all punch list items are resolved; client handover is satisfactorily concluded and that there is no prolongation of project.
