• Provide technical support to the clients with regards to their queries on the tracking devices such as Satellite/GPRS phone trackers, and In-Vehicle Management System (IVMS) devices and its integration to the tracking system platform.
• Frequently travels to Iraq for the installation of IVMS devices to the client’s (mostly Security companies) armored and soft skin vehicles such as Toyota Land Cruisers, Coasters, Hilux, and trailer trucks to name a few of them.
• Perform firmware and script configuration to the tracking devices using software applications, manufacturer’s web portals, and Over-the-Air (OTA) means
• Accomplish different kind of tracking devices’ reports which are submitted to the Technical Support Manager & Accounts department, and also to the clients if they require one.
• Actively monitor the system tracking platform and follow protocols in case of system failures/downtime, and coordinate with the Software team once system bugs or possible system improvement is identified.
• Performs electrical safety testing such as heating/temperature test, leakage current test, dielectric strength & insulation test, power/current input, mechanical & stability hazards, and abnormal operations as per IEC standards such as IEC 60335-1 (Household & similar electrical appliances- Safety- General requirements) & part 2’s, IEC 60065 (Audio, Video and similar electronic apparatus- Safety requirements), IEC 60950-1 (Information technology equipment- Safety requirements), and IEC 60598-1 (Luminaires- General requirements and tests) & part 2’s.
• Prepares test data plans, IEC test report form, and final test reports.
• Actively coordinates with the client in the verification of the product’s test scope/requirements, test progress, and final result, and provides timely and effective supports to the client in relation to inquiries concerning product standards and clarifications on technical matters.
• Responsible for updating the test instrument’s database and for sending off the instruments for annual calibration.

• Work with Toshiba-SamsungTechnology-Korea Design Headquarters and Mediatek-Taiwan Design team in pre-development of design stage of ODD products in finalization of MPCB circuit and Firmware design
