• Conduct detailed, quality rounds and complete e-SOMS tours in the plant, log all
abnormalities and required follow up in the Narrative log.
• Report abnormalities to Shift Supervisor and take the necessary corrective actions.
• Monitor process conditions and makes necessary adjustments in order to optimize the
process while ensuring products are within the required specifications.
• Document critical activities and abnormalities via operators log.
• Perform comprehensive shift turnover.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining compliance with Life Critical
Procedures, Tenets of Operations, Consent to Operate, plant policies and procedures, Daily
Operating Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis
(JSAs).
• Take corrective actions to keep all the process parameters within its design limits. Work
with and assist Technical and Maintenance to understand and solve the process problems.
• Perform unit start-ups, normal operation, process upsets and shutdowns as per SOP and
EOP requirements.
• Execute Stop Work Authority and take immediate corrective actions to stop unsafe
behaviours
• Prepare and commission equipment per DOIs and Maintenance Schedule.
• Perform unit start-ups, normal operation, process upsets and shutdowns as per SOP and
EOP requirements.

• Assist in the execution and maintenance of the unit operations and delivery of standard
operating procedures relating to the handling, storage and treatment of PCB wastes and
PCB contaminated equipment.
• Observe health, safety and environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance of
the facility with regulations.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Operates the utilities unit such as instrument air compressor, boiler and cooling water
system.

• Prepare equipment for maintenance work or for operation.
• Monitors and records equipment and process parameters.
• Charges additives as per schedule.
• Perform oil topping, first line maintenance and regular equipment cleaning.
• Involves in the troubleshooting of process related problems in the extrusion section and
offsite facilities.
• Takes pellet sample from Extrusion Section on a required time interval and waste water
sample for quality analysis.
• Isolates process units in the Tankfarm Section prior to maintenance work.
• Conducts regular safety facility checks in the Tankfarm Section on a regular basis.
• Responsible in the operation of LP and HP boilers in accordance to plant standard
operating procedure.
• Operation of instrument air compressor unit.
• Handles the operation of Air Conveying Compressor during shift duty.
• In charge of start up and shutdown of cooling water system.
• Ensure sufficient supply of Low and High pressure nitrogen as required by different
process areas.
