Managing the security operations centre (SOC) providing 24/7 security monitoring.
Implementation of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard.
Development, implementation and enforcement of the bank’s cybersecurity program.
Lead new projects by providing ICT security guidance to ensure adherence to the minimum baseline security standards. To understand the bank’s business initiatives and requirements and to map those requirements to a technical ICT security architecture.
Provide timely daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports that appraises the senior management and shareholders on the current ICT security posture, emerging threats, emerging trends, and future plans.
On this BSc Business Information Systems degree course, I gained the problem-solving, managerial and technical skills to get to the heart of issues, as an information systems professional. I learned how to communicate and investigate complex problems and develop solutions which combine business ideas and technology, in any type of business, large or small. I developed a combination of skills that give me a unique overview of organisations and the ability to work well with others and share ideas at all levels.
