Organize skills development courses and supervise the quality of their implementation, ensuring that all logistical arrangements are taken and that the activity is in full compliance with IRC standards and that a safe and secure environment is guaranteed throughout the program
▪ Select market-oriented short-term technical courses that match the needs of employers in Beirut & Mount Lebanon, in addition to designing its curriculum and validate it with employers
▪ Develop and implement terms of reference and work plans for service providers and assess their performance at regular intervals
▪ Participate in the organization of focus group discussions to clients, develop and deliver life skills information sessions as required; such as body language, stress and time management, financial management, etc.
▪ Ensure that beneficiaries’ selection is in full compliance with IRC procedures and supervise
their regular attendance in trainings, as agreed between Finance and Program
▪ Collaborate with Monitoring & Evaluation Team in their daily monitoring activities and share timely information with them
▪ Collect case studies and success stories
▪ Establish and maintain contact and productive working relationships with community representatives, local and international organizations, service providers and employers
▪ Create linkages with other IRC programming in education, WPE, Men’s support
program, protection and life skills department to deliver relevant information sessions to clients
▪ Conduct interviews with English and Literacy trainers for recruitment as required
▪ Prepare monthly and yearly expenditure forecast under supervision of Livelihoods’
Center Manager
▪ Prepare presentation on IRC’s services and Livelihoods’ programs and assist donor in
center tours as required
▪ Collaborate with private sector institutions to monitor the posttest of trainees and accredit their certificates
▪ Participate in job fairs to explain about IRC Employment Support Services
• Development and leading of outreach strategy to ensure maximum exposure to potential beneficiaries throughout all Lebanese governorates
• Liaise with different outreach channels including, other NGOs and INGOs, municipalities, Directorate General for Vocational and Technical Education in Lebanon (DGVTE) schools, private technical schools, and others
• Development of visibility leaflet for beneficiaries and for partners, to outreach beneficiaries
• Development of promotional video to outreach beneficiaries
• Managing the workload of two outreach volunteers and two referrals’ volunteers
• Translation of promotional material for the project
• Development of competence-based training in distance learning modality
• Supervise the development of competence-based training curricula in furniture and wood industry
• Assist in the selection of short-term experts for curricula development, including headhunting, terms of reference drafting and interviewing
Conduct household interviews with residents and report collected information to the UNHCR crew leader
Understanding others' values and culture to be able to negotiate internationally
