Receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods.
Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and also acceptable quality.
Packaging and labelling products before they are dispatched.
Picking and packing products.
Selecting space for storage and arranging for good to be placed in the designated areas.
Making sure that all inventory processes are completed on the same day.
Labelling goods that have arrived at the warehouse.
Contacting transport companies and coordinating dispatch and delivery with them.
Preparing deliveries for the van drivers.
Moving and organizing stock.
Ensuring a clean and safe workhouse for staff to work in.
Storing stock away safely.
Removing hazardous products from the warehouse.
Signing off and replenishing stock.
Monitoring stock levels.
Moving items through the warehouse from receipt to dispatch to customers.
Occasionally delivering stock to shops and retail outlets.
Conducting building and grounds maintenance.
Allocating and managing space within buildings.
Managing services such as cleaning waste disposal, catering and parking.
Completed minor repairs as needed at branch locations and buildings.
Controlling all maintenance and facilities spend in line with budgeted levels.
Providing training, coaching and guidance to junior staff.
Responsible for supervising the work of the on-duty staff
Assign duties to the employees
Issue cleaning equipment and supplies to the staff for respective duties
Ensure that the public areas are regularly cleaned, especially during events or functions
Analyze the staff performance for developing training plans
Training up new housekeeping staff.
