Preparation of Inspection and Testing Plan, Manufacturing and Procedure Specification for a particular project in relation to customer Specification and API specification and Company QA Standard
Evaluate Inquiry and Orders - Prepare deviations and counter-proposals based on Customer’s requirement and specifications
Prepare Welding Material standard (Wire, Flux and Electrodes)
Prepare instructions and procedures for Inspection, Testing and Welding prior to Production of order
In-charge in memo preparation and implementation during qualification periods, participate on the welding procedure qualification, monitor NDE results up to Mechanical Testing
Prepare Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) on different welding processes such as MMA, GMAW and SAW. Conduct training and plant monitoring on welders and operators to ensure its full implementation
Supervise and monitor, with a team of QC- Welding Inspection Group the welding work carried out by Production to ensure that proper welding procedures and duly qualified welders and approved welding materials and consumables are in process
Organize or participate pre-production and pre-inspection meetings
Perform plant inspection and monitoring with regards to quality of pipes produced on daily basis
Check and verify non-conformed product, analyze the problem encountered, prepare and implement dispositions. Conduct investigation, prepare and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance Department in Pipe Release and MITC preparation
Coordinate with Third Party Inspectors during project qualification and production stage
Conduct technical study to improve processes for better product quality and productivity
Facilitate material mechanical and chemical verification tests and evaluate results if materials comply with specifications prior to issuance
Prepare technical reports, Weekly and Monthly Reports presentation
Perform quality inspection from raw materials, pipe forming and welding process, bare pipe visual inspection, Hydro-test inspection
Prepare and record reports for every pipe inspected each shift
Prepare NCRs on defective pipes; coordinate with Production Group when quality issue arises
Conduct inspection on pipes prior to and after application of coatings and linings such as Epoxy, Polyurethane, Coal tar and cement
Perform inspection on-site when required by Customer
