• To lead the team of QC (8 welding Inspectors) and NDE teams (3 NDE coordinators and 5 NDT Inspectors, 3 PWHT inspectors, 2 PMI inspectors) and monitoring the on‐going daily welding production and NDE activities.
• Reviewing the construction method statements and making comments per project specifications, procedures & ITPs.
• Review of material test certificates, in process inspections reports, such as dimensional, welding, NDE, painting and spool releases.
• Working in close relation with the QC NDT SUPERVISOR Participate in the QC Activities, involving, establishment of the necessary documentation (plan, procedures), qualifications of welding, NDE and painting activities.
• Reviewing the NDE companies PQ procedures, all NDE procedures and calibration certificates for all NDE machines
• Carry out tool box meeting regarding for fit up, welding and repair rates and provide proper advice to welders, welding operators and welding Inspectors
• Monitoring consumables backing, re drying, consumables issuance records, stock quantity are properly following or not.
• Close Supervision to piping and welding Inspectors with regards to fit up, welding, NDE activates testing & pre‐ commissioning of piping as per scope of works.
• Monitoring welders’ weekly performance, weekly and cumulative repair rates and welders JCC renewals.
• Monitoring and updating the calibration of all inspection Equipment.
• Conduct internal auditing to make sure that all documents are followed as per project requirements and specifications.
• Raising internal Log Book Entries/NCR’s to construction crew for effective implementation of project quality plan, ITP’s, written procedures, project specifications, IFC drawings etc.
• Coordination with Clients inspectors for getting the feedback for open log book entries and preparations of corrective actions to close those violations.
• Emphasizing on the control of documents and records by advising the document controllers, QC Inspectors.
• Conducting routine internal meetings with QC inspectors for further vigilance to the potential problems which must be tackled accordingly to avoid non‐conformities.

• Review clients specifications and scope of work
• According to client specifications Preparing PWPS for the qualification for the WPS.
• Preparing WPS and PQR and related documents for all position in C.S to C.S, C.S to S.S and S.S to S.S metals,
• Organizing welder qualification according to ASME SEC. IX for plates, and AWS D 1.1 for structural’s and witness.
• Welder Qualification is done by approved WPS.
• Preparing welder qualification test record (WQTR).
• Inspection in all position plates and pipe fit up.
• Monitor all consumables used in welder Qualifications & production welding.
• Review contractors welding procedure documents.
• Prepare Purchase Request for Welding Consumables used in welder Qualifications & production welding.
• For Butt joint the joints Geometrics (root gap, root face, Bevel angle) Inspection.
• During welding current & voltage (polarity), Travelling speed by the welders random Inspection.
• After weld final Weld visual inspection according to ASME 650, and AWS D1.1
• Witnessing Various NDT Methods.
• Drawings verification and welding symbols Random Inspection.
• Inspection of welding consumables-verification, visual inspection, Storage and Handling.
• Analyzing for SMAW, TIG (GTAW) and FCAW process.
• Analyzing for new welding technology

• Assisting in Preparation of QC Plan.
• Weld Visual Inspection, Corrosion rate inspection & Vessel conditions.
• Identification of Discontinitues such as cracks & Corrosion by RT and Depth by DPT
• Preparation, Review and Witness of Hydro test and its procedures and reports.

• Assisting in preparation of Welding Procedure Specification, Procedure Qualification Record and Organizing Welder Qualification Test.

• Site Drawings verification.
• Monitoring the production welding, Before Start, during, after welding to assure that it continues to produce satisfactory results.
• Preparation, Review and Witness of PWHT and its procedures
• Preparation, Review and Witness of Hardness test and its procedures and reports
• Generating Documents for the Inspected Work at Various Operational Stages
• Involved in Preparing Scope of the Work, Projects and Inspection Report jobs.
• Inspection of welding consumables-verification, visual inspection, Storage and Handling.
• Inspection of welding equipments calibration verifications.

• Interpret the X-Ray films and make the report as per ASME sec V, IX, AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3, API 1104 and client specification submit the film to third party inspector or client.
• Make the repair markings the exact pipe the exact locations as per the specified X-Ray film drawing.
• Survey the radiation level of all X-Ray tunnels and maintain the warning symbols and lights, keep the records for every required time period.
• Keep all records of the Dosimeter and Survey meter. Send all safety equipments for calibration to extend the expiry date.
• Trained new technicians for the working systems of the X-Ray tunnels and Darkroom as per the Skill and Organization necessity.
• Maintain the Consumables of all necessary X-Ray machines and chase Purchasing activities.
• Instruct and assist the critical jobs like gamma whole joints with technicians as per client’s satisfaction.
• Take the new project, and make the total list of the new project, and arrange all things to need the project.
• Tack care of all company activities, technician needs, consumables, instruments.
• Develop the X-Ray films and make all reports as per client and the third party inspection’s requirement.
• Inspect the all spiral pipes end circumstances in manual ultrasonic normal wave method.
• Inspect all pipe end weld using the shear wave method.
• Interpret and sizing the defect and make the decision for repair as per specification
• Locate the repair and instruct the welding department to make the repair from inside or out said the pipe.
