Provides professional nursing care within the emergency room; Coordinates care planning with other disciplines and provide fast and accurate stabilizing care to individuals in a crisis situation and during transport.
Responsible for the planning, executing, instructing and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care given to the surgical patient during, before, and after surgery. This nursing care ranges from preoperative intervention onto postoperative evaluation. It is a practice designed to meet a patient’s needs through the nursing process, ensuring continuity of care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative surgical experience. The Medical Surgical nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures, which require thorough assessments related to specific condition with holistic treatment and interventions. Being built-in clinical instructor, ensure safety and learning of the interns throughout their duty exposure and practice.
After graduation, I took Integrated Nursing Licensure Exam to have license to practice as Registered Nurse.
