Responsibilities include:

Project manager for social marketing projects aiming at child protection in local communities and projects targeting vulnerable women and children in the emergency context of the Syrian crisis

• Leading the planning and the implementation of the different phases of the project

- Conducted literature reviews on the issue of child maltreatment, Early childhood adversity, child development, especially issues of corporal punishment and prevention of Physical abuse of children, and positive discipline.
- Wrote scientific papers examining attitudes towards the use of corporal punishment against children, and framing the issue as a public health problem.
- Prepared for and conducted focus groups for parents of young children to develop messages for anti corporal punishment communication campaign for The New Orleans Child Advocacy Center.
- Participated in writing grant proposals for research to assess pediatricians’ knowledge, attitudes and clinical practice related to the issue of corporal punishment and child physical abuse.
- Prepared and presented:"Corporal Punishment and subsequent risk of children’s behavior” for the Journal of Practical Reviews in Pediatric Dentistry
- Prepared and presented: An Online Comment Content Analysis of Attitudes and Ideologies Linked with Approval of Corporal Punishment at the 19th Annual colloquium of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC)
- Provided dental care and treatment to the students of the University of Jordan.
- Worked on raising oral health awareness.
- Took initiative to upgrade the dental department by introducing new appliances, materials and methodologies.
- Supervised dental students during their training at the students' clinic.
- Introduced the newest sterilization routines and methods in the field of Dentistry and trained the oral hygiene staff on implementing them.
