• Report, investigate and monitor near misses/incidents in area of control, conduct and participate in all activities relating removal of hazards at work areas.
• Identifying and evaluating potential/existing safety problems, suggesting solutions and recommending suitable corrective measures.
• Assist with identification of hazards arising from activities in work area, ensuring that all are communicated to relevant personnel in order to maintain a hazards free work area.
• Actively participate in implementation of Company Safety Policy and procedures by example and communication to client and subcontractors.
• Provide the details an open means by which subordinates/sub-contractors can communicate safety concerns, when possible action the items and when not ensure these are passed to personnel/sections for further actions.
• Conformations of all MSDS (Material safety data sheet) is monitored, documented and distributed as appropriate.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Following all Governmental and Company rules and management directives, regulations and policies that relate to HSE to meet the missions and objectives.
• Ensuring the requirements of the Company’s Quality Systems are complied at site.
• Actively participate in the implementation of the Management safety policy.
• Identifying and evaluating quality problems, suggesting solutions and recommending suitable corrective measures.
• Good proficiency to work effectively and efficiently with others using fundamental interpersonal skills conductive to teamwork.
