Duties and Responsibilities
1. Greet customers as they enter the store
2. Provide complete product information
3. Negotiate product price
4. Make unique design / presentation of chocolates
5. Arrange product displays
6. Maintain records related to sales
7. Recommend, select, and help in the selection of chocolates based on customer needs and desires
8. Ensure sufficient stock of chocolate in the store
9. Ensure that target sales is achieved.
10. Open and close cash registers, perform tasks such as counting money, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.
11. Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Duties and Responsibilities
• In charge with the preparation of packaging machines and materials in coordination with Planner/Scheduler
• Ensures that parameters on bagging machine and palletizer are set correctly.
• Ensures that bagging order paperwork is filled in correctly
• Coordinates with Control Room and Laboratory for opening and closing valves, releasing of bagging orders during non-duty hours
• Supervises the whole bagging/palletizing process
- The right packaging material is used
- The correct film roll on the bagging machine
- The right print on the bags (double check after palletizing)
- The right number of layers is installed at the palletizing machine
- The bags are glued if required
- The pallets are properly shrinking wrapped, if required (outside materials and slippery grades)
- Slip sheet is placed under the bottom layer for all 7/8 layer materials
- Proper stacking of bags on pallet (stacks shape, stack stability, stack positioning on the pallet)
- There is sufficient ink in the printer
• Performs regular check up of packaging quality according to checklist on bagging instruction
• Ensures that after the bagging, bagging machine and print head are cleaned
• Informs maintenance of machine breakdown
• Daily planning of required manpower in coordination with Foreman
• Ensures safety in the bagging area and housekeeping
• Ensures that everybody is wearing his PPE (safety shoes, helmet, clear glasses and adequate clothing
• Make sure work floor is always clean
• As a forklift operator, visually checks the equipment working conditions so that no interruption will occur during and after operations. Forklift is the mobile equipment that is being utilized for lifting palletized products coming from (BEUMER & MOLLER) shrink wrapping and palletizing machines.
• Upon lifting from palletizing section, stores the products into designated area in warehouse per filling schedule report
• In charge with loading and stacking of units
- Loading Units (each unit is 1375 tons, 55 bags per unit, 11 high & 25kg/bag) into trailer or flat bed as per loading schedule report given by Logistics Section. Once loading is completed, inspection is made to ensure that only correct product has been loaded, signs the document, and informs the supervisor for job accomplishment
- Loading Units Direct to 40' or 20' containers according to loading schedule report given by Logistics Section. Once loading is completed, inspection is made to ensure that only correct product has been loaded, signs the document, and informs the supervisor for job accomplishment
- Stacking of Units into warehouse for inventory either inside or outside depending on filling schedule report given by supervisor upon completion, the report is submitted to supervisor for their record.
