DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Implementation of project health and safety standards approved by the consultant.
•Daily inspection on site and correct unsafe acts & unsafe conditions.
•Conduct toolbox meetings and on-site trainings to educate workers in promoting safe work practices.
•Daily JSTI observation to improve the awareness of the workers about the safe and correct procedures of their daily task.
•Attending trainings and seminars to improve and refresh my knowledge in the field of Health Safety and Environment.
•Coordinates active efforts and plans to identify, eliminate, reduce, isolate and control hazardous operations, materials or processes.
•Ensure all plant and equipment, lifting gears and vehicles, including electrical power tools are inspected and approved by responsible authority.
•Coordinate with Consultant HSE representatives and other sub-con HSE Officers for any safety related issues and concerns during site tours and safety inspections.
•Preparing safety inspection reports and records including investigation of incidents/accident.
•Monitor storage, transport, usages and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with the corresponding standards of MSDS (Materials Safety Data Sheet).
•Random inspection of scaffolding and ensure green scaff-tag sign by authorized scaffold inspector.
•Ensure availability of PPE’s and correctly used by all employees in the work site.
•Verification of Permit to Work precautions and make sure it is updated by concerned personnel.
•Perform other related duties and task as assigned.

•Coordinates safety and health programs and policies with other related departments.
•Maintain direct liaison with city, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with safety and health codes, standards, or regulations.
