• Responsible for the effective supervision and administration of the General Services Department including budgeting, purchasing and staff organization, development, performance evaluations, employee relations, prioritizing and assigning work and related activities.
• Oversees and develops short and long-term strategic goals pertaining to the planning, development, design and operational processes for Life Support, Property Maintenance and Fleet Operations. Establishes departmental programs and budgets for the maintenance, replacement, and improvement of materials and equipment.
• Oversees the development, inspection, and enforcement of the standards by which materials are procured, stored, accounted for, issues, maintained and repaired; creates and reviews bids; reviews plans and specifications of private consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Evaluates the need to fill vacant positions and recommends changes to allocated positions and departmental structure as needed. Researches and prepares recommendations and reports for the A&S division GM.
• Implement call-offs and purchase requests procedure for equipment and material supplies, develop appropriate documents in accordance with available procedure for purchase and supply of equipment, materials, and consumables.
• Manage the company's administrative activities related to equipment and facilities, reception, office supplies, property safety, property maintenance, cleaning and gardening according to company guidelines and local staff requirements and within budget.
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance with policies, systems and procedures are in place.
• Represent GS on questions from both internal and external auditors.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of all staff and staffing levels..
• Instructing and teaching the workers about being fast in executing the organization procedures.
• Assigning jobs to different personnel and delegating appropriate jobs to proficient personnel.
• Ensuring that the work is done timely and effectively.
• Hiring, selecting, training and supervising the subordinate staff members.
• Organizing and facilitating meetings missions; workshops, seminars, trainings by securing the venue, arranging tickets, accommodations, entitlements and required security clearance requests for the participants and team members.
• Supervise inventory control clerks and work with the receiving department managers to ensure necessary items are in stock.
• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures for inventory control to manage the flow of supplies.
• Accurate monitoring, ordering and storage of inventory.
• Maintaining the physical inventory and managing warehouse inventory.
• Establishing and executing cycle inventory schedule.
Checking original texts or confer with authors to ensure that translations retain the content, meaning, and feeling of the original material. Checking translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisions. Compile terminology and information to be used in translations, including technical terms such as those for legal material. Discuss translation requirements with clients, and determine any fees to be charged for services provided. Proofreading, edit, and revise translated materials. Read written materials such as legal documents or scientific works and rewrite material into specified languages. Refer to reference materials such as dictionaries, lexicons, encyclopedias, and computerized terminology banks as needed to ensure translation accuracy.
