المشاركة في وضع الأهداف والمبادرات والخطط التشغيلية التي تضمن وجود معايير الجودة والكفاءة العالية في الجهة وفي الوحدات التنظيمية التابعة لها، ومتابعة تنفيذ هذه الخطط وضمان وجود الأطر والمقاييس الدقيقة لمعرفة مستوى تحقيق هذه الخطط والأهداف.
وضع وتطوير الخطط والبرامج والمشروعات التفصيلية التي من شأنها رفع جودة المخرجات والخدمات، ووضع الأطر والمقاييس التي تضمن وجودها واستمرارها، والعمل على متابعة تنفيذها.
مراجعة وتطوير أنظمة ومعايير وإجراءات ونماذج ضبط وتوكيد الجودة في الجهة وإدارة عملية نشرها وتعميمها على الوحدات التنظيمية ومتابعة تنفيذها من خلال إجراء عمليات تدقيق وضبط الجودة.
متابعة أحدث المستجدات والتطورات والممارسات في أنظمة الجودة ووسائل توكيد وضمان المطابقة والالتزام بإجراءات ومعايير الجودة المتبعة وتقديم المقترحات حول تحديث أنظمة الجودة والتدقيق المعتمدة في الجهة.
الإشراف على عمليات إعداد وتحضير الملخصات والتقارير العامة فيما يتعلق بأعمال توكيد ومعايير الجودة، وعرضها على الإدارة العليا المتخصصة، وإحاطتها بمختلف التحديات والمستجدات واستشارتها في مختلف القضايا والمبادرات المستقبلية المهمة.
