Being second in command and based in Abu Dhabi, I have overall management responsibility of Abu Dhabi Campus in addition to part of Dubai Campus operations. Setting all campus services contracts procedures, benchmarks, and KPIs. Key University representative onsite for the construction of Abu Dhabi new campus (2.8billion AED).

- Manage preparation of briefs to ensure that functional requirements, performance and quality standards are clearly defined.
- Assist the Director on planning proposals and prepare feasibility studies.
- Prepare project programme to ensure that realistic completion targets are set and monitor progress on regular basis.
- Prepare project budget, obtain financial authority and monitor commitments and expenditure on regular basis.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with Dean and client departments, property services managers, consultants and contractors. Maintain records of meetings and correspondence.
- Co-ordinate designs development and documentation and arrange reviews to ensure that the brief has been satisfied.
- Oversee the calling and evaluation of tenders to ensure that prescribed procedures are followed.
- Administer contract, or liaise with the consultant appointed as Engineer to the contract as appropriate, to ensure that both the Principal and Contractor fulfil their obligations.
- Manage commissioning of building services and utilities in consultation with plant operations and maintenance personnel to ensure a smooth handover from the contractor to the University.
- Supervise the selection, purchasing and installation of furniture and equipment.
- Ensure the University's interests are professionally represented at all stages of contract.
Managing and operating the design and building services coordination of commercial and multi story residential buildings with Hawkins Construction Ltd.
