BRIKAMA II POWER PROJECT
Study, Design, Supply, Construction, Implementation and Commissioning on a turnkey basis of Two Units of 10MWe ±10% each Heavy Fuel Oil Power Plant in Brikama, The Gambia. The project included the construction of a Power House, Pump Houses, Tank Farm, Administration Building and Access Roads.

BRIKAMA DISPATCH CENTER PROJECT
Construction of a Dispatch Center Building with the main objective to interface the three existing power plants in Brikama, The Gambia with all existing outgoing feeders in one hand and the OMVG substation in another, into the grid to ensure stable operation and to secure additional evacuation capacity


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing Monthly Progress Reports detailing the work performed and achievement attained over the period covered by the corresponding report.
- Preparing the project’s weekly look ahead schedules detailing all the activities that are planned to take place two weeks ahead.
- Preparing monthly progress time schedules for the project.
- Preparing requests for inspection for materials and works along with inspection reports.
- Coordinating the communication with the consultant and client parties to ensure proper execution of works.
- Preparing Outgoing Letters to the consultant and client parties.
- Monitoring and Control for all construction and procurement departments documents (contract documents, drawings, outgoing letters, reports, purchase orders, shipping documents, inspection documents).
- Procurement of Material from International Suppliers (Preparation of requests for quotation, following up with suppliers to get the offers, preparation of purchase orders in coordination with the technical department, following up the shipping documents, shipments status and material delivery dates).
- Preparing the percentage of works for all the project’s activities and preparing the project’s progress invoices
- Assisting the Project Manager and participating in the preparation and compilation of the tender documents for new Electricity and Water Projects.

ENERGY DEVELOPMENT AND ACCESS EXPANSION PROJECT
- Design Review, Material Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning of a 33 kV line, 33/11kV Substation, 3 x 11kV Feeders and Low Voltage Networks for ten villages (33/0.4kV).
- Upgrade, Testing and Commissioning of the 11 kV Switchgears at the Wellingara Substation.
- Upgarde, Testing and Commissioning of the 11 kV Capacitor Bank Units at Mile 2, Mile 5, Wellingara, Bijilo and Medina Substations.
- Design Review, Material Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning of a 33 kV Medium Voltage Line Extension at Sintet Village
- Design Review, Material Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning of 11 kV Medium Voltage Line Extensions at Farato and Daranka Villages
- Design Review, Material Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning of Low Voltage Networks at Farato, Daranka and Jambur Villages"

KOTU POWER GENERATION EXPANSION PROJECT
Study, Design, Supply, Construction, Implementation and Commissioning on a turnkey basis of one unit of 11.1MWe ±10%, two stroke, slow speed heavy fuel oil power plant at the existing Kotu Power Station, The Gambia. This project included the construction of a Power House, Tank Farm and Electrical Building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports detailing the work performed and achievement attained over the period covered by the corresponding report.
- Preparing the project’s weekly look ahead schedules detailing all the activities that are planned to take place two weeks ahead.
- Preparing monthly progress time schedules for the project.
- Preparing requests for inspection for materials and works along with inspection reports.
- Coordinating the communication with the consultant and client parties to ensure proper execution of works.
- Preparing Outgoing Letters to the consultant and client parties.
- Monitoring and Control for all construction and procurement departments documents (Contract documents, drawings, outgoing letters, reports, purchase orders, shipping documents, inspection documents).
- Procurement of Material from International Suppliers (Preparation of requests for quotation, following up with suppliers to get the offers, preparation of purchase orders in coordination with the technical department, following up the shipping documents, shipments status and material delivery dates).
- Preparing the percentage of works for all the project’s activities and preparing the project’s progress invoices
- Taking and Organizing progress photos showing the progress of the works in the project, in addition to presenting these photos with comments in a monthly progress photos slide show illustrating the progress of work for each month
- Participating in weekly meetings held with the consultant and client parties.
- Assisting the Project Manager and participating in the preparation and compilation of the tender documents for new Electricity and Water Projects.
- Following, checking and monitoring of material shipments from Suppliers to Project Site

Assisting in the preparation of the Bill Of Quantities (BOQ) for networking projects

- Installed and Maintained various academic softwares
- Performed the Network IP Configuration

Attended training sessions for the following topics: PDH and SDH, communication protocol C7, GSM, DSL, Alcatel Switchgear Platform
