Served as In-Charge Credit Cards Unit:
• Monitoring of credit card sales across network and its reconciliation & communication with our Acquiring bank i.e. M/s Euroline for settlement thereafter.

• Receipt of revenue documents on day to day basis of the operated flights, its reconciliation thereafter with respect to passenger document certificate and trim sheet
• Coordinated across the network to settle the discrepancies on flight wise/date wise/route wise basis for safeguarding corporation’s interest
• Crafted & implemented standard operating procedures for avoiding revenue leakages, ensured compliance to safeguard the customers’ as well as the corporation’s interest
• Prepared numerous reports including days sales outstanding, daily revenue document receipt report, revenue documents mismatch report and duplicate usage report
• Implemented an oracle based revenue assurance system that liaisons with the revenue accounting system.
• Communicated & coordinated with M/s Pregem (Pvt) Ltd for the upgrade and debugging of their Aries system applications during its implementation phase.
Managing Audits
• Successfully handled Semi-annual & Annual financial accounts audits for the above cited units with M/s Deloitte, M/s Grant Thornton & M/s Ford Rhodes. Resolved issues and queries raised by auditors in light of International accounting standards, accounting separation regulations and on technical grounds.
My prime responsibilities were the following:
1. To help in assisting and maintaining the monthly charts of accounts
2. To perform bank reconciliation on monthly basis
3. To prepare monthly salary sheets
4. To assist in carrying out the periodic audits
5. Dealing with the vendors regarding their dues settlement
I did my Master of Sciences in Finance and my dissertation was on, " Impact of Corporate Governance on Dividend Policy" for Firms Listed on Karachi Stock Exchange.
I was listed thrice on the Chancellor's Honor list for scoring 3.6 gpa and above.
