• Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan
• Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors,
• Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team,

• Assisting in projecting future financial needs, taking into consideration the various projects undertaken by the organizations and help the higher officials in the management of financial resources
• Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department including month & year end process, general ledger, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis and capital assets reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports/statements.
• Establish and enforce accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and complete internal and external/financial audits.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance especially GAZT (Zakat, Tax & VAT) & SOCPA.
• Oversee the accounting department, making sure that they are aware of and following all up-to-date policies and procedures.
• Communication of all financial laws and regulations and updating management as needed.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IFRS, bank reports, and various detailed analysis reports.
Worked on statutory & special audits, due diligence assignments compliance audits, quality assurance, quality management and business advisory.
I also got the opportunity to work in different sectors which include Banking, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing and Construction. My exposure of dealing with multitude of entities has provided me an understanding of working environment in a diverse and widespread nature of organizations.
While assisting my supervisors on audit engagements, I developed skills and understanding on the following matters:
• Planning, execution of audits and supervising the fieldwork, reviewing the files to supervisors along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan and meeting deadlines and ensuring financial statements/reports are prepared in accordance with the International Accounting Standards/International Financial Reporting Standards, local laws and regulations, professional rules, practices.
• Assessment of efficiency and effectiveness of clients’ internal controls, introducing best practices, giving suggestions to improve their quality and value-added services (including governance and enterprise risk issues).
• Advising and consulting with the client on audit concerns
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
