As a unit head and working with three employees in the Academic recruitment unit, my tasks could be described as :

- Implement recruiting process in line with approved policy and procedures.
- Regular follow up with respective deans and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
- Design a logistics work flow for the relocation process for the approved candidates.
- Coordinate with HR immigration office to issue work visas for international faculty members as well as transferring sponsorship for local candidates.
- Coordinate with housing department, transportation and related departments to make necessary arrangements for the reception of new faculty members.
- Designs, develops and maintains the hiring process for Qatari academic employees, in terms of issuing the Job offer and coordinating the requested documents and processes.
- Participate in the HR Committee in the presence of QU president and VPs as a representative of HR.
- Designing job offers, requesting hiring documents, creating employee files and issuing job numbers as well as assigning allowances and benefits in the Oracle payroll system.
- Work on more creative solutions to recruitment, especially if it is proving problematic.
- Oversees special events for staff by coordinating committees and schedules, and staying within budget.
- Fully responsible for the yearly HR orientation for the new faculty members which involve external and internal services to assure a perfect relocation for the candidates.

Duties as a recruitmemt specialist includes:

- Participating in interviewing new candidates for positions within the HR department.
- Processes exit clearance forms and assures proper approvals, procedures and monetary benefits.
- Maintain and update payroll related information in QU’s HR management (Oracle ERP i11, i12) system in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain budget system entries that includes salaries, payroll entries and allowances.
- Explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees.
- Enter operational information related to payroll such as timesheets and leaves etc. in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.
- Oversee hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks  Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures and initiate appropriate action to ensure compliance in case of any discrepancies.
- Address salaries and benefits related queries and issues for QU members in time of joinning.
- Preparing reports for the Department of Labor and other agencies as well as performing other duties as assigned.

- Receive, resolve and track employee queries and requests;

 Assign complaints tickets to the second line of support using CRM (Customer Relationship Management. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0).
 Cisco Interaction Manager, where we chat with our customers in formal way using the same protocol for the high level of customer service.
 Running Cisco reports using Cisco reporting system, to detect the SLA level for all call types and the intervals analysis for the abandoned and the rate of calls answered within threshold, KPIs report for the agent by skill groups, Running CRM reports including the ticket status, FCR status, cases solved and pending, etc.
• Qatar National e-learning portal Account :
 Handle users’ inquiries, complaints and support issues for the portal www.elearning.ictqatar.qa.
 Receive requests for new users and applicant who wants to apply for new online courses.
 Assign complaints tickets to the second line of support using CRM (Customer Relationship Management. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0).
 Solve some issues online using the admin portal for the users and the applicants.
• Consumer protection :
 Handle user complains about all the cases related to the consumer protection in Qatar -Prices Control, Markets Control, Commercial Fraud- following the updates and the regulations updated by MBT \[ Ministry of Business and Trade\]
 Assign complaints tickets to the second line of support using CRM (Customer Relationship Management. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0).
