Job Description:
I worked as a Project Officer within an engineering team responsible for implementing construction projects across various areas in jordan. My responsibilities include direct supervision of the implementation of engineering works according to approved designs, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and coordinating with municipalities and local communities to ensure the smooth and sustainable progress of projects.

my Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit daily and monthly progress reports, highlighting project challenges and field issues to my line manager.

Oversee the work of contractors from contracting, through execution, to technical acceptance.

Supervise daily activities of CfW (Cash for Work) teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring their performance.

Lead the recruitment process for workers, including conducting interviews, shortlisting, and coordinating with the HR department.

Facilitate meetings with local communities and participate in coordination meetings with municipalities and their engineers.

Monitor project implementation on-site to ensure full compliance with design and technical specifications.

Prepare and maintain As Built Drawings for completed projects.

Ensure the strict application of site safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Train and guide field teams on technical execution methods, improving their field competencies.

Contribute to the technical supervision of other engineering team members, providing technical support as needed.

As an architect, my job is to handle the design work, starting with conducting study and evaluation of the situation of the new sites and projects, to prepare the new design, then making the co-design sessions with the local communities, then working on the designs to take all the approvals, and at the end preparing the detailed designs for each of them Ensure that all project activities comply with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and Acted's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)., also the responsibility for following up on the work on the site to ensure that the workers implemented the design as it should be, by daily visits to the worksites, to follow up with contractors and CFW`s.
