Project Objective
Automated interface to notify the DC about the Advance Shipment which are sent from the vendor.
Project Description
This project is to create an interface to notify the Inbound Deliveries in advance. It enables the DC to plan for Inbound Deliveries and pre-Allocation of inbound product based on the Advance Shipment Notification (ASN) information. It eliminates the need for paper based communications and allows for integration of data to multiple systems without multiple data entry points. Hence it reduces the Trailer turnaround time and ensures accuracy between product shipped & product received. It also reduces unloading time at receiving dock and reduces check-in time from receipt to selling floor. This also facilitates the cross docking process.
Role and Responsibilities
• Mentoring the team, tracking the development
• Preparing project specific documents such as Unit Test Cases (UTC), User Specification Documents (USD), Program Specification Documents (PSD)
• Preparing Estimations for CR and business requirements.
• Gathering requirements for the new enhancements and analysis of the existing code.
• Designing the new CRs and coding new features in C# MVC Pattern and VS 2010.

Project Description
Wal-Mart's Logistics System known as the Global Logistics Systems, controls the logistics of the goods to be sent and received between its Distribution Centers and Stores. GT regression project's objective was to make a single GLS code for all markets and differentiating the markets by adding flags for them and switching ON and OFF the flags as per market specification.

Enhancing the GLS application for Imports Market by implementing Imports Market specific business logics and Change Requests.
Project Description
Wal-Mart's Logistics System known as the Global Logistics Systems, controls the logistics of the goods to be sent and received between its Distribution Centers and Stores. Imports is one of the markets in GLS System that handled transportation from Regional Distribution centers to Imports Distribution Centers. The functionalities of the GLS system was enhanced and new functionalities specific only to Imports market was added.
Role and Responsibilities
• Gathering requirements for the new enhancements and analysis of the existing code.
• Adding new features to the application using extensive coding in C# and Visual Studio 2008 IDE.
• Writing of test cases and preparation of test reports for all the new functionalities.
