Duties and responsibilities:
EHV/HV/MV Substations protection systems base & detailed design preparation and review:

•SLD with CT & VT data preparing for different systems GIS, AIS and SAS.
•Protection logic diagrams preparing for different items (UGFs, OHLs, Shunt reactors, SVCs, SGTs, EHV/HV/MV BB, Capacitor banks, AVC and ACSE).
•Signal lists preparing (Alarm organization, SOE, DSM point lists & Fault recorder channel allocation).
•Operational interlocking table preparing.
•CT sizing calculations and different manufacturers (ABB, AREVA, Siemens, WESCOSA, and Schneider) relay setting studies.
•General knowledge and study of different standards “IEC, IEEE, SCE COA, SEC TMSS, SEC TES” to fulfill the project requirements in the economic and latest state-of-the art.
•Panels' schematics design review and system interfacing (system engineering) preparing.
•Control cable schedules, lists and termination preparing.
•Panel design Engineering.
•SCADA points lists preparing.
•Protection modifications and materials BOQs preparing.
•Technical evaluation of vendor offers and PTS study.
•Coordination with other design “Electrical, Civil, Communication and mechanical” teams to satisfy and ensure perfect and professional output.
•Direct contacting and coordination with clients and preparing progress reports and different quality forms as per ISO standard
