• Responsible for Positive Material Inspection (PMI) by Spectro Analysis and preparing the reports for the same.
• Magnetic particle inspection on machine components by using different method like wet method, dry method and fluorescent using yoke.
• Penetration inspection on the weld joints, equipment components such as expansion bellows, pump casing shaft etc. in different materials by using solvent removable, water washable and fluorescent methods.
• Carrying out in -service visual inspection of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, condensers, heater coils, stripper towers, gas plant equipment, utility equipment & piping in the refinery.
• NDT testing such as Hardness using portable Hardness tester.
• Coordinating with Third party/ client inspectors for various job activities.
• Internal calibration for measuring instruments, preparation of certificates for the same.
• Inspection of incoming materials and preparation of reports for the same.
• Coordinating with external laboratories for mechanical testing.
