Responsible for supervising the overall accounting activities (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Payroll). Perform month-end closing process, including review of GL entries, preparing accruals, and other closing journals as necessary. Close periods after approving all journal entries and open the next period. Supervise the A/P Accountant and approve journal vouchers and batches for entry of financial transactions into the general ledger. Follow up and investigate journal vouchers with missing information related to sources. Approve payment vouchers as per approved limits specified in the delegation of Authority Matrix. Supervise the A/R Accountant and approve the process of issuing customer invoices and ensure proper integration and generation of collection entries. Supervise the FAS Accountant and ensure the proper tracking, recording and control of fixed assets, with proper computation of depreciation. Supervise the Payroll Accountant and approving the payroll sheets payment before obtaining a final review and approval from the Finance Manager to process employee salaries with ensuring of correct deductions, reimbursements for employees as required.
