Pre Procedure:
Prepare arterial access site.
Assessment of patient
Maintain IV line.
Collect lab result, Document on ccl work sheet and inform physician for abnormal.
Give education to patient about procedure.
Check all Documentation required for specific procedure.
During and After Procedure:
Collect all equipment for specific procedure e.g LHC, PCI, PPM or other procedure.
Prepare Trolly for procedure with sterile technique.
Scrub patient, s access site and cover with sterile drape.
Assist cardiologist during procedure.
Operate machine during procedure.(panning& positioning).
Monitior ECG & hemodynamic during procedure.
Remove sheath after procedure by giving manual pressure or using pressure device.
Responsibilities
Check equipment.
Check all supplies on daily basis and refill accordingly.
Make CDs of procedure and maintain CDs & reports record.
Check floor stock and equipment.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
• Assist cardiologist during procedure as a second operator

• Adult and Pediatric catheterization procedures

• Left Heart Catheterization
• Right Heart Catheterization & Pressure Monitoring
• Renal and peripheral angiography
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention including Primary PCI
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump insertion
• Percutaneous Mitral Balloon Valvulo plasty
• Atrial Septal Defect Device closure
• Temporary Pacemaker insertion
• Permanent Pacemaker implantation - including ICD and CRT devices and Programming.
•Electrophysiology study of the heart and ablations.
• FFR, IVUS and Rotablator procedures
• Echo Cardio graphy.
