Project Background:
The primarily responsibility includes performing “Application Support and Maintenance” activities for three applications (Sales Catalogue, CPE+ and APE) which are part of the BT Global Services vertical. They are used for generating quotations for specific customer requirements and competitive biddings. All the three applications are categorized as business critical with accounted revenue loss incase of outages.
The technologies being used are C# & ASP .NET and ORACLE 10g with all the windows servers being managed at a clustered Virtual Data Center environment.

• Prepare supportive documents and maintain checklists like Service Health Check, Data Retention Policy and KEDB of all the applications for audit and review purpose.
• Monitor various windows jobs, database feeds, space & performance, giving recommendations to increase table space, indexing, checking views, materialized views and tables proactively and take action accordingly.
