• Working as Assistant QHSE & Food Safety Manager
• Responsible for the implementation, monitoring and continual improvement of our Quality, Health, Safety, environment & Food Safety management systems across DAMAC Group as required, and maintaining accreditation through internal audits.
• Responsible for development and submission within timeline of HSE and food safety documents related pre-qualification, tender submission, regulatory affairs, third party and external audits
• Developing and maintaining documentation such as SOPs, QHSE& HACCP manuals, policies and procedures as they relate to any QHSE and food safety concerns.
• Implementing, leading, and validating the HACCP plan, Risk assessment plans.
• Performing food risk assessment of each process, developing operational prerequisite and critical control points that will be monitored to assure the production of safe and wholesome food products.
• Ensuring all food safety requirements are met by different divisions of the Group, in order to ensure full compliance with applicable local and legal regulations and customer and/or contract requirements.
• Acting as Food Safety Team Leader with certifying body. Participating in Group-wide HSE, Food Safety and Quality Committees and recommend corrective actions and continual improvement initiatives.
• Conducting quality & food safety audits as well as manage third party audits. Working with internal and external auditors to ensure objectives are achieved. Ensuring all audit observations are properly implemented and required results are attained for external audits.
• Working closely with the Operations Manager and/or General Manager on any food safety or quality assurance issues.
• Controlling the traceability, internal documentary management, availability of good manufacturing and control practices
• Managing GMPs in support of sanitation and personnel employee practices and procedures. Overseeing proper implementation, maintenance and sanitation of all facilities to comply with food safety requirements, including HACCP, RMP, GMP, facility design, hygienic zoning, cleaning/sanitation, pest control, etc
• Consulting food industries on Documentation of ISO 22000, BRC, HACCP, ISO 9001, 14000 &18000
• Auditing & Training as per ISO & Food Safety standards.
• Water treatment & Waste water treatment
• Different industrial registration & certification such as FSSAI, MFPOI, BIS, FPO, & ISO
