•Act as the team leader controlling all aspects of the works including, planning, administration, commercial, engineering, site works and documentation.
•Manage, coordinate and liaise with project design consultants for all MEP works.
•Delegate work to the project team and monitor the progress to completion.
•Ensure that the works are completed on time, notifying the management of any delays and valuing the costs associated with the delays.
•Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of the project.
•Instigate the project planning and review of progress against targets set.
•Establish the project construction methodology with the project team.
•Co-ordinate the work of all in-house staff, suppliers and sub-contractors
•Ensure instructions are received for additional work and agree the value.
•Responsible for an ongoing review and feedback of site construction activities, ensuring that all work is compliant with the specification, schedule and that the quality of the installation is acceptable as per project quality plan.
Reviewing the engineering works along with the concerned parties
Preparing and reviewing the MS, shop drawings, method statements, etc.
Delegate the works to the concerned staff
conducting the meeting with the all project stakeholders
Follow day to day work executing
testing, Balancing and commissioning for the mep works
- liaise and facilitate the mep works with other related activities to minimize the technical conflicts which could arise during the construction works.
- preparing, reviewing and monitoring the project documents, such as shop drawings, method statements, materials, payment, etc.
- holding regular progress and status meeting as a part of project information distribution to keep all project stakeholders aware about the project status and to resolve any issue related to the project plan.
- executing the project activities according to the approved project plan.
- providing technical and management support for the project team.
- close out the project officially according to the project plan and obtain the customer close out signature.
- Preparing and issuing the project documents; Tender documents, Project specification, shop drawings, and supervising the construction works related to HVAC, Fire Fighting, and plumbing works.
- Negotiate with the concerned contractor/suppliers regarding the technical issues.
- hold a coordination meeting with all relevant disciplines to resolve any technical conflict cuold be raised during the engineering and construction stages.
-responsible for preparing and issuing the project tender documents during the engineering phase and supervision for the construction works
